Water Seven to Florian Triangle

Before making her way back, Alyssia stopped by Water Seven to update the skills she had purchased from the Straw Hat Pirates including adding upon her current flame leg skill that was very similar to Sanji's.

She also visited some other areas where the Giants were so that she could gather their martial arts based skills and their insights into their own Elbaf Spear unique skill.

Upon arriving back at Rica Island, she locked herself up as she further dove into her research into Devil Fruits and the types of patterns within that help construct a specific power.

If the key parts could be identified then they could be remade into a copy or even a custom made Devil Fruit.

The possibilities did not just end there as the final part could be used to grant a life form a power before their birth just like the Germa had without suffering any weaknesses from the water.

Alyssia had quickly noticed the reason behind some types of powers and why Judge had chosen specific ones for his children rather than more complex ones.

Copying and identifying the patterns for fire, thunder, poison, strength or stealth is a lot simpler since it only has one power and is centred around it, the pattern or configuration within the body would remain stable as it adapts resulting in no flaws but it would be different for other examples.

To add an additional power would mess with the original structure and cause an imbalance resulting in a mutation or death of the subject which could be why two Devil Fruits are unable to be eaten by a single person.

Alyssia sighed. "Hmm… if this is true then to get around that problem, they started introducing the idea of concept within a Devil Fruit design. Rather than mixing basic superpowers which was a failure, they chose to build new ones based on an idea or an already stable thing that is in the world. Who knows how advanced the world was back then so I cannot really guess but if they did build up many power patterns based on certain materials, elements, living creatures or everyday item then the powers given would be related to that concept which is a little similar to My Hero Academia's quirks. While there may be the most basic powers, there are also many out there not discovered which could be anything from Cement, Barrel, Fork, Clock or other more complicated ones like the Oven Power."

She then continued. "Like the empty glass theory, most would be born that way without a power in this world and if they underwent an experiment to gain powers… their glass would shatter upon being tampered with because it cannot handle the changes. The Devil Fruits must break past this problem and create a protective film or barrier within the glass or stabilise it to handle the sudden change, the user can learn to use their new abilities right away but some more difficult parts need to be discovered on their own as their body and soul adapts to it as they grow stronger but because of this protection, they sacrifice their ability to swim and gain a weakness to the sea or things related to it."

She massaged her head as she frowned. "If two powers occupy the glass, that stability created as the two powers fight it out so that they can occupy that glass resulting in the glass shattering and the user dying as a result. So.. first I need to identify better what kind of powers come from specific patterns in the Devil Fruits and figure out how to put forward the idea of the concept of a power and make it stable. Since I already know how superpowers work from Germa, the application of such powers would be possible to create on a life form during the initial stages of their birth when the glass is beginning to form. However that would only be needed if someone were to ever request a powered baby and the resources needed may be very high to complete such a thing. However… I have Ton and Ting who are tending to the gardens so making a Devil Fruit is more than possible so I need to decide on a concept or power type soon. Luckily I have many samples and have grasped many of them already thanks to my Programmer skill combined with some others, after working out the structure of a couple of them, the rest are quite simple in the Zoan and Logia category while most Paramecia are a little more complicated but I do not think I am far away from reaching a conclusion. I just need a little bit more before I can be absolutely certain."

Creating a stable power was difficult the more complicated it was and Alyssia would not be happy with just anything simple whether it be for herself, to give it to someone else or to use the method to give the power to an item.

She then continued. "Then I have to continue gathering materials and further research the results gained from Yao that I have gained from the many tests and analysis on his body."

While researching powers or Devil Fruits was not a priority, it did tie in with her own body a little so she did not wish to leave out any possible

While she was busy on her many projects, she had Nica and Ein work on some more robotic and mech focussed projects which were formed from the combined knowledge of her various mechanical engineering skills including the one from Sabaody Archipelagos which was named project Valkyrie but while the project was underway, there was one missing item that she had been missing which would help not only the project but also help to improve upon several other things like Medea and Alfreds modifications.

Many changes were taking place around the world as the Worst Generation were each making their own mark on the world as they got closer to Sabaody Archipelagos but as time had passed, the Straw Hat Pirates stayed on Water Seven until the Thousand Sunny was built and as they eventually left, they took Franky with them and patched up any previously problems that they had within their crew.

As the White Storm was making great strides to improve their relationships with other businesses, they continued to work out deals in which certain lower or medium sized businesses of different lands could work with the White Storm to transport certain islands specialties or special items to other islands to allow better trade between many islands in the first half of the Grand Line.

Each of the main members of the crew were quickly improving themselves and Yvie was one of them after she had been personally instructed by Alyssia after she came back from acquiring the claw and finger techniques of the Wolf Zoan user from CP9 which further improved the overall techniques for Yvie.

While the Straw Hat Pirates each had their own specialties, powers or talents that allowed them to survive and travel in the first half of the Grand Line in a short amount of time, each of the members of the White Storm had already been able to travel around and survive with fewer issues and they had each grown from it in their own way especially with the resources and techniques given to them.

Time kept passing as the Straw Hat Pirates entered the Florian Triangle where they came upon the Accino Family as they had to face off against the whole family along with their boss who is in possession of the Hot Devil Fruit which allows him to reach a maximum body temperature of ten thousand degrees.

Unlike most other Devil Fruits that she wished to get her hands on or gain a sample of, the heat based fruit did not entice her so Alyssia did not journey out as she locked herself up in her research while continuing her usual daily activities.

Several of the modifications on Medea had been completed but Alyssia was still unhappy since there was still no word about the Wapol metal but she believed that it would soon appear or at the latest appear on the black market after the war ends.

In the meantime, the World Government were becoming increasingly uneasy about the Worst Generation and especially the Straw Hat Pirates so they began to draw up plans to have him killed at the hands of Kuma who was contacted as soon as the Straw Hat Pirates had entered the Florian Triangle.

Just as they had begun to enter the Thriller Bark Arc, Alyssia received a message from Kuma so she spoke. "I see, then I will be out soon so hurry and take me with you."

Kuma responded. "I will not be long."

Upon his arrival, the both of them were both sent towards Thriller Bark.
