Lukas and Johan were in the academy. It was break time, and they were sitting beside each other on the grass.

Johan looked at Lukas. "Really? I didn't know your engagement could just be change like that, all of a sudden," he said.

Lukas shrugged his shoulders. "That's actually pretty simple, it would be harder if you were already married. You'd need a papal permission to divorce in that case," he said.

Johan nodded his head. "Yes, I know. But you can still have a concubine while you are married, so... what's the difference?" he asked.

Lukas shrugged his shoulders once again. "I never said these rules made sense. I believe that a legal wife is considered the woman in the guy's life, while the concubine is just a random woman who the guy is sleeping with. I guess it is not considered very catholic to have more than one woman in your life," he explained.
