At a different side of the hunter's school, there was a huge projection house, where a projection of a live scene from the same school but a different hall, was being projected on the big white screen.

Before the screen, 200 students were sitting in proper order.

These students were in the 2nd year of the school, who were watching the opening ceremony of the freshers of this year.

The sitting arrangement of these students was done according to their ranking. The top team at the front and so on.

Almost everyone had an amused look on their faces as they saw how their juniors were suffering and shouting in pain. The desperation of the first-year students, to escape was making the onlookers satisfied.

The team leader of the top two teams had a solemn expression as well as their team members.

"Jimmy, do you think that the special boy would do something here?" A girl with raven hair who was the mage of the best team, 'Team Reapers', asked her leader.

Jimmy or James Anderson was a British boy who for some reason came to Japan after getting thrown out of his country's hunter school.

The blonde boy always seemed to be cold and arrogant in front of everyone as the backing of his arrogance was his perfect score in all the tests and assessments he have gone through.

The most peculiar thing was, that he had the traits of being an expert in more than one class of hunter.

Right now, all his focus was on Subaru. Since the moment Subaru landed, Jimmy fixated his eyes on him.

Reason?

Zero mana reading. In his whole life, he never came across anyone whose mana he wouldn't have been able to feel. He would have regarded Subaru as a normal human if it was not the place where he spotted him.

Hunter's school. A place where normal humans couldn't even enter without special authority. Jimmy used all his resources to find the information about Subaru but a powerful entity was blocking all the intel related to this certain boy. Except for the basic things which he got to know from the school intelligence unit, he found nothing.

Jimmy didn't answer the girl but just stared at the screen with a bored expression, as his target was still unmoved. He was about to stand up and leave the hall when the screen flashed. He crossed his arm and with a little bit of curiosity focused on the screen.

Everyone in the room saw a boy slicing the humanoid doll at a furious speed. Those who were at the end of the room had a fascinated look on their face. But no one was extremely surprised by this performance.

"He is good isn't he?" The leader of the second-best team,' The Conjurors ', said to his tank in a low tone.

"Yeah but still I can see his movements. I think a little bit of polishing and he can become the new rookie of this year". This thought was mutual for almost everyone. But Jimmy was still waiting for something.

He never judges the banquet until he goes through the desserts. And his patience paid off.

After the flame subdued and half of the techs were sliced, a heavy aura pushed everyone inside the hall on the ground except for the tall boy and the two girls beside him.

A smile formed on Jimmy's face as he concluded the mana formation was done by none other than Subaru.

(A/N: Yes he can read the formation through a screen too. Absurd logic? I know;)

'Now show me, what you are made of'.

" Ladies." Subaru looked toward Yuno and Ririka who were stunned by the situation which was unfolding in front of them.

One moment, they all were watching the dolls getting ripped in two by Kyojuro and the next moment everyone was flat on the ground.

"Can you crouch down a little?" Both Yuno and Ririka nodded in unison and without wasting time kneeled on the ground with their head ducked.

Subaru roamed his eyes in the entire hall and found that except for Kyojuro everyone was on the ground. Kyojuro was kneeling on the ground while protesting the force which Subaru was exerting with his spell.

'Hoh.' Subaru had a satisfied smile on his face before he raised his index finger.

A small red pearl emerged on the top of his finger which slowly started floating in the air.

After reaching a certain height the pearl released a line of rays to all the cardinal directions.

*Swiinn*

*Boooom* all the walls including the entrance were blasted off within a second. The debris which fell on the student made them realize that it was fortunate, that they were lying down.

All that left was the ceiling which was hanging in the air now.

"You guys have 10 seconds to get out or I will drop the ceiling on you all".

Subaru released all the pressure from everyone and without questioning or saying a single word, everyone left the hall except for 5 people.

Three of them were beside Subaru and the fifth one was Kyojuro. He stood up with a grim expression on his face. Subaru waited for his reaction patiently and soon after some seconds Kyojuro turned his body toward Subaru with a beaming smile on his face.

Kyojuro disappeared from his spot and appeared before Subaru. Both Ririka and Yuno were ready to attack him if by any chance Kyojuro say or do anything which the girl doesn't like.

But Subaru was smiling faintly as he knew what was Kyojuro's motive.

Kyojuro raised his hand, not to attack him but for a shake.

Subaru complied with the gesture and offered his hand too.

"Kyojuro Rengoku. It's nice to meet you." Subaru only nodded and looking at Kyojuro's expression it was certain that he was happy that Subaru didn't introduce himself.

Reason?

A warrior only introduces himself when he admits someone as his true rival and with Subaru strength, Kyojuro wasn't worth being his opponent, for now at least.

Both men let go of each other hands before Kyojuro disappeared from their view. Ririka was well aware of the teleportation magic and its spell formation and surprisingly, Kyojuro wasn't using teleportation or any mana-originated spell, but only his true speed.

'Interesting.'

Back in the projection room, a ton of different reactions were echoing around the room. Since the cameras were planted on the ceilings too, they were able to see every moment.

It was obvious who was in the center of attraction. A single spell that didn't even take time to be chanted destroyed those walls which require magic power of at least 5, (A) rank mage to destroy a single wall. During their first year, these walls were destroyed only after every single mage worked together. Well, Jimmy was working alone on a wall and resulted in the same but what Subaru did was totally unexpected and absurd.

Jimmy had a full blooming smile on his face but the mage in his team had a serious expression. She knew that her position in the team would be shaken off if any better mage in the school suddenly pops up. And looking at Subaru, she was sure that her team leader would certainly kick her out.

'I have to get rid of this boy before Jimmy reaches him'.

Back in the first-year side, every student was on their way to their cottages including the Subaru's group. Theo complained and nagged all the way until they reached the cottage area. He was whining about the partial treatment he faced and how big of a traitor Subaru was.

" 'Bros before hoes' was our golden code, you forgot that?"

"I never promised anything.".

" Get a tattoo of T-R-A-I-T-O-R, it will look perfect on you".

"Yeah, whatever." After waving goodbye, everyone returned to their respective cottages.

Ririka walked back to her new home which was far away from the treehouse of Subaru. She didn't have a choice for her cottage otherwise she would have chosen to live on the opposite side of him and like that she could always have seen him day and night.

After entering inside her cottage she got froze instantly. A tall boy was leaning on the wall opposite the entrance with a small smile on his face.

Anyone wouldn't have survived or at least could have got hurt because of breaking inside her house but not this person.

"I think we have an unsettled business. " Subaru walked toward Ririka and suddenly classic western song started playing in the background.

Subaru bowed a little and offered his left hand to Rirka who was still stunned because of this unexpected situation.

"If you allow me the pleasure". His charm was on the extreme level right now and for Ririka, then she already lost count of how many times she thought that this was a dream.

Subaru waited patiently and after returning to reality somehow, she placed her hand on top of his.

Subaru pulled her and placed his hand on her thin waist and placed her other hand on his shoulder.

Subaru led Ririka fluently and she also followed him subconsciously. After a minute they were in a proper unison like they have known dancing for a long time and had practiced together before. Subaru had his experience from the past life. And Ririka had to learn western culture due to her clan's guidance. Anyone who has seen this scene would have only thought of them as a perfect complimenting couple.

" You are looking truly beautiful today, Ririka". Suddenly between the dance, Subaru spoke in a sweet loving voice.

Ririka didn't say anything and only looked at his eyes with a little blush on her cheeks.

Her high heels were making her able to match his height to some extent.

"You know I usually don't express what I feel but today somehow I can. " He continued all while focusing on his steps so he doesn't end up hurting her.

"The time you came inside the hall, made me remember the first time we met and how foolish yet cute you were". Ririka didn't retort as she also knew how much impulsive she was in the past.

" Then you started stalking me and luckily I also like girls who have some craziness blended in them". She pouted this time and glared at him.

He chuckled and continued.

"And if my memories serve right then last year on 18th February, you confessed to me in the hospital lobby. Am I right?" Ririka lowered her gaze and didn't respond to him.

Subaru swirled her and after wrapping his hand around her waist again, he stopped his feet and closed the gap between their faces.

"I didn't respond to you that time. But now things are different". Subaru snapped his finger and the whole scene in their surrounding changed. Ririka was shocked to see the familiar hospital lobby where she and Subaru hugged for an hour and promised each other.

Subaru was amused after he saw her reaction. He tugged her hair strands behind her ears before he spoke again.

" I am in love with you Ririka. Will you be my girlfriend?"
