"Soumetsu!" Ayaka waved her fan as her Cryo Vision shined brightly, shooting a storm of whirling icy winds slashing forward.
"Mujina Flurry!" For her part, Sayu threw a mujina doll charged with Anemo element that exploded periodically, expulsing Anemo element until it was completely depleted, making it an effective bomb.
The Anemo element swirled Ayaka's attack, expanding the icy storm that shot forwards towards Allen's position.
"Burst!" With a sword completely covered with a layer of Ice, Allen slashed the ground, the ice shining brightly and exploding over the ground, causing this to shoot upwards, debris creating an earth layer around it.
The Cryo storm continuously slashed over 8 times the floating ground, completely cleaning it, but just as it was about to reach Allen, it reached its limit, dispersing over the air and only causing a cool breeze to pass over Allen.
"Come!" Allen shouted, Ayaka and Sayu quickly charging over him.
"Kabuki!" Ayaka swiftly drew her sword, unleashing a furry of sword qi towards Allen, seemingly without any opening.
Seeing the attack, Allen was worried, he could feel his body unconciously moving, finding the best way to parry it, but of what he was warry was of Sayu's attack. Sayu with a big mallet that towered her height and seemed impossible for her to wield it, stroked over Allen with great strength.
Allen put the counter stance of the Niwa Style, receiving Ayaka's attack and taking control of Ayaka's flow, making use of her momentum and strength to parry Sayu's mallet.
"Tch!" Allen clicked his tongue as he found his counterattack 1 mm deviated, causing Sayu's attack to not be perfectly parried and striking the ground near him.
*Bam* The mallet hit the ground, breaking it and shooting rocks that while they didn't damage Allen was enough to break his posture.
"Stop!" Allen commanded just as the girls were preparing for a counterattack seeing his opening, both girls stopping.
It wasn't that Allen was unable to respond to their next attack, but with the actual condition, he was well aware that he would be unable to control the combat, risking possible injuries for the three.
"It's unbalanced" Allen sighed as he looked at his sword.
"Don't be down, you have improved" Ayaka tried to cheer up "Before your sword would just break after the burst, now you can continue fighting."
"My control is not enough, there's still some internal damage" Allen analyzed "At most would last one more burst and I can't really fight well with it, becoming unbalanced."
"Wouldn't using a better sword solve the problem... waw" Sayu yawned.
"Sayu, a better one would resist the damage better, but there still would be damage, it would slowly accumulate until it breaks." Allen explained "I'll need to continue working in it."
"Us too!" Ayaka said "Our bursts were easily parried by you, we need to work harder!"
"Train, waw... tiring" Sayu yawned with half-closed eyes, showing that just at any moment would fall asleep.
Looking at them Allen could only sigh comparing them with him. A year had passed since they obtained a Vision and they started training with it. And within this year, they made it very clear that they were far more talented that Allen in using it, their Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery greater than what Allen could reach.
Ayaka's Cryo abilities were powerful, being able to unleash powerful blasts of it. Ayaka's burst was far more powerful than Allen's, Allen only being able to parry it. In the end, her burst wasn't much of a danger as it was easy to stop with anything, gaining enough time to avoid it, but as her strength and control increased, the attack would become quite scary, the number of slashes increasing and accumulating the momentum, finishing with an explosion.
On the other hand, Sayu's external control sucked, being unable to externalize and control the Anemo element. However, internally, her strength and control were quite strong, being able to use Anemo in herself, making her able to lift massive weapons effortlessly, taking their weight away. That's why she chose to use big mallets as her weapon choice.
Against Allen's advice, she continued practicing her Fuuin Dash, making it her signature move. Allen was worried about her rolling around as it would make it difficult to understand her surroundings and would dizzy her. But in the end, they were needlessly worried, Sayu's perception was top notch, being very aware of her surroundings, and she was able to incredible resist the dizziness, being able to roll over an hour unfazed.
In the end, the throwing up of her first time was just that, her first time using elemental power plus the tiredness.
And for her burst, it was her imitation of Allen, dagger thrown. She charged her doll with Anemo energy and threw it. Away from her it didn't last long, but it was a powerful bomb.
Moreover, Sayu's Anemo element was the most special. For some reason unknown to them, depending on her intention when throwing the charged doll this one was capable of healing instead of attacking. They discovered by accident went she almost hit head on Ayaka with a failing thrown and healed her instead of damaging.
Allen supposed that is was Sayu's particular Anemo energy, that everyone had different elemental energy with different properties, remembering that in the game there were characters capable of healing with some elements that would usually cause damage.
About the explication of this? Allen really didn't know it, one more mystery for the gods and Visions. Something that while it was related with the person mindset, it wasn't directly as Allen was sure if that was the case, Sayu's abilities will cause growth with her big obsession to grow taller, a dream that was going further away, Sayu really staying short while the others grew.
However, that made Allen thing of the different qualities of an element for different people, wondering if his own Cryo element could be hiding a special propertie.
"Good job, everyone" Allen stated picking up his things and preparing to leave.
"Aren't you forcing to much?" Ayaka asked worriedly "I don't really understand why you took that job. You could be part of the Yashiro Commision and study with me."
"Sorry, but you know that I'm not fit for that kind of word" Allen excused.
"I think that you are fit, the problem lies in you preferring to avoid it. But you have certain talent in etiquette and your way with people." Ayaka pointed out.
"Touche" Allen nodded "I would rather train and fight than learn inside a room. Anyway, good job. Your movements are close to perfection, so try to improve their effects and focus on your elemental mastery. And for you" Allen turned to Sayu whose body was swinging, preparing to fall asleep "Train a little and eat healthy or you won't grow, no matter how much you sleep."
That made Sayu to open her eyes a little "I'll try" but nevertheless, she seemed to be fighting hard against her sleep and seemed destined to lose that battle.
"Bye" Everyone said goodbye and Allen quickly started running towards Inazuma City, the run towards it, becoming part of his morning routine.
Allen ran over Inazuma City's streets while greeting all his familiar faces along the way, finally reaching the Tenshukaku.
"You look energetic today, Allen"
Allen turned around towards the voice, seeing a beautiful young woman with long dark hair "Hi, Sara. It's strange to find you here at this time, you usually being with the Shogun-sama."
"There had been news of some weapon smuggling at Nazuchi Beach and I am in charge of stopping it." Sara explained "I can take whoever I want with me, so would you join me?"
"Of course!" Allen smiled, quickly preparing for the trip.
This year, Allen had decided to join the army controlled by the Tenryo Commission, using Tomoki's contacts and the Niwa's Clan influence to force his way. Not that it had been very difficult, with Allen's young age and combat ability, plus his possession of a Vision had made him quite well known over Inazuma and a future strength that the army won't want lo lose.
Allen's reasonings were simple, if he really wanted to create a big impact at Inazuma and accomplish great goals for Snezhnaya, he needed information before planning to move. He had used Sayu's help to obtain some secrets, but he really didn't want her to put herself in danger or tarnish her idea of him, so he preferred to keep her and Ayaka away of his true thoughts.
For that reason, he joined the army. The Tenryo Commission was the strongest one, being the right arm of the Shogun and the one with the biggest influence over Inazuma, making it the best place to obtain information, and the way go of the government.
He had started as a low soldier, but quickly climbed over in great part thanks to Kujou Sara who after Allen spent time with her, it was clear that had a huge crush on Tomoki. For an unknown reason to Allen, Tomoki seemed to avoid her, but that didn't avoid Allen to make use of it, approaching Sara and becoming close to her who know treated Allen as a protégé and younger brother.
That really helped, Allen being able to expand his information network as his rank rose at a high speed, learning how it could be damaged from inside.
...
*Pam* Allen hit the back of the last enemy, this one falling to the ground with a loud bang.
In the end, the smuggling mission had been quite easy one, with only some low grunts ronin smugglings low rank weapons.
They were kind of weak and didn't pose any danger to Allen or the other 5-member team that Sara brought along. And even in the case of something going wrong, Sara stood at the back, prepared to fire her arrows if needed.
The true most surprising part had been the ronins trying to fight them rather than surrendering, as even if they were about 20 people, against the infamous Kujou Sara, they didn't have any option to win.
"Good job everyone. Tie everyone and prepare to return." Sara commanded, the soldiers quickly following her orders, quickly returning to Inazuma City.
"Something happened" just as they arrived, there was clearly something going on the city, soldiers erratically moving around.
"What happened?!" Arriving at the Tenshukaku, Sara stopped one soldier.
"Lady Kujou!" The soldier bowed to Sara "The head of the Police, Takatsukasa Isamu, had been assassinated."
