With creased brows, she kept thinking hard but what she was thinking about wasn't about the fact that he said he wasn't the one who set up this whole thing, neither was it because he said that he was shocked when he heard it and didn't expect her to come.

It was because of the other two statements he made. Those two statements were making her mind spin - they were confusing her so badly that right then she didn't know what to think again.

'If he liked her why would his mom force him to come over and why would he ask her if she thought that he would ever set a date for them? What was running through his mind?" She thought then she returned her gaze to him but unluckily for her as she gazed at him, their eyes met and she was once again lost.
