Situation in the Two Capitals

Cole was just about to explain what had happened when he went pale at the memory. The sequence of his actions replayed in his head as he clobbered an unknown creature in the backseat of his car.

When the king of Lycaon was about to explain himself, he spotted a flurry of red off the corner of his vision. He stepped nearly to King Davin, making sure his words would not get carried over to the sensitive ears of the red-haired Seeker, "Kyle is getting more restless."

"Oh…" the king went silent. He looked around and upon spotting Madeline, continued the discussion through the mind link, leaving the Seeker oblivious to their conversation. Fortunately, she was already going off with Honour and their mothers to get out of the king's way while he worked.

At the king's command, the driver took the four ladies away and to the royal palace. King Davin returned his attention to Cole, 'That's a serious issue you have there. Are you really going to use wolfsbane?'
