Heart Demon

Shiva's mind arrived in an all white plane which he can only assume is where he will face his heart demon. He noticed that he was no longer small but in his past body, which was convenient. Soon, a figure gradually appeared across from where Shiva was.

When Shiva saw what the figure looked like, he was surprised and a slightly pissed. The figure was his Ex-Girlfriend from his past life. She was 5'6, small body and fierce eyes.

Her skin was like a porcelain doll, almost perfect, if it wasn't for the scar under her left eyebrow and across her left eye, he would consider her perfect.  Her eyes were a hazel color, her nose is small, almost button like. She has thin lips that are slightly pink and a petite but appealing body.

She looked deep into shiva's eyes at this moment, she began speaking to him.

"Jin... No. I should call you Shiva huh?" She sneered, looking disgusted at the sight of him.

Shiva never would've thought  that his heart demon was his whore of a ex.

"Aliza?" Shiva looked side to side and sighed in his heart.

"Do you remember me Shiva? I was your first girlfriend and you hurt me" Aliza began speaking like she was hurt, but the looking in her eyes said the opposite.

"Tch!! Of course I remember you, you whore!" He started to get upset. When he was in his junior year of high school, he met Aliza and they became really close friends, after months of contemplating ad procrastinating he finally built up the courage to ask her out, and surprisingly she accepted his proposal.

They dated from junior through the end of  their senior year. He was a Division 1 level football player and he had already been accepted to go to a Division 1 collage, so his best-friend proposed to throw a party for him, and on the night of the celebration of him leaving, his best-friend had texted him and said that he found some videos of his girl and he should watch them.

So he watched not one, not two, not three, but four videos of his "girlfriend" sleeping with a multitude of guys. When he confronted her at the party, he saw her talking to a guy that he saw in the videos. So the only thing that a guy that has been cheated on and lied to could do was to beat the shit out of the guy and his "girlfriend".

Shiva finally understands why she is his heart demon. He wanted to know the reason why she did what she did, but he never got them. This has indeed been on his mind since his senior year and he always thought it was regret for beating her but he knows that he doesn't regret it, he only wants to know why she did it.

One has to know that a heart demon isn't just about finding and defeating whatever causes the person discomfort and or self-ruin. It's about understanding and getting answers that you've wanted to know for some time but couldn't or didn't want to know.

  Shiva looked at her with a tired face and asked, "Why?" Shiva spoke in a somewhat quiet tone.

"Why what?" Aliza said back. Even though she is a heart demon, she spoke in a amused tone.

"Why did you cheat on me? I mean, I know that I was somewhat slow, but I was there for you when you needed me!  " He began to raise his voice because he needs these answers.

The two went quiet for a period of time, until Aliza began speaking

"Why? Because you were too doting and loving. I needed a man, a man not willing to give their life for a girl,  not someone that will cater to my every need like a dog" Yelled Aliza

'What?" 'I must not be hearing right!? She cheated on me because I wanted her to feel like a queen at all times and not like some second hand skank!?' He Is confused, isn't this what all women want? For their man to take care of them and love them unconditionally?

"You don't understand do you? Women don't want to waited on or "taken care of", they want someone to rely on, to be there for them in case they need things." She started yelling in an angry tone.

Shiva looked at her with many different emotions on his face, but the main look was anger.

"I don't care about any of those bullshit reasons! What's the real reason why?" He didn't care about some trivial things like not wanting or can't take it, now he only cares for himself and his future. Even if he has to wipe out an entire country, he will do it 'cause he only cares about himself now!

She looked downcast at his questioning.

"It's cause... I felt like I wasn't good enough for you! I mean look at me then look at you. I have the pretty face and nice body, but...but, you have the nice face, the nice body and you were popular, and I wanted to feel like that too! To feel that I'm the best! Like I'm the most sought after. But after you asked me out... I was ecstatic!~ I finally got to be something more that just a pretty face and a slab of meat! I felt that If I did the same to the other guys, that I would be-

She didn't get to finish because Shiva's fist was already in her face like a train.

Shiva's fist flew right through her. As the fantom of Aliza was just his mind projecting what he unconsciously already knew but didn't want to consciously know.

"Wow"

"How shallow! All that cause you wanted to be like me? Dumb bitch" Said Shiva in a disappointed tone. He loved this girl the best he could and she  betrayed him in the end, multiple times

"it's- She wanted to say something more, but she disappeared before she could get her second word out.

"Woo!, Finally that's done" 'I can now go and finish opening the last three of The Eight Inner Hidden Gates'. With the opening of the gated, he will gain tremendous strength.
