That Was Distressing

Once Everett's mind was made up, he tried to acclimate more fully to this world under the assumption that going home was impossible. Between the food and Josie, it really wasn't so bad. He actually managed to enjoy himself surprisingly often. 

He had fun going out and trying new things with her on days they didn't have to work. Even if some of them were a bit nerve-wracking like rollerblading. 

That wasn't all they did either. As promised, she took him to try a bunch of new foods and all were delicious. He could definitely get used to being here. Especially if she kept smiling at him so warmly all the time.
