You Really Mean That?

Hailey was much more alive after breakfast so she ended up going to get dressed and helping with the food preparation. She had to be told what to do most of the time though. She was still learning to cook and had obviously never made any of the Thanksgiving foods they had been working on. 

Had she not celebrated Thanksgiving after losing her family? She had never said much about her mentor but based on limited conversations Dallin heard her have with him, he didn't seem to be particularly warm. He might not be into holidays. 

Tori arrived as they were setting the table with a couple of pies she had brought and set them down near the others before hug attacking him. "Dallin! Long time no see!" 

It had been a couple of years. She had been home visiting her family when he was last in Arizona so they had missed each other. 

"Yeah, it's been a while. How are you, Tori?"
