Leaving the bar me and Wires walked over to the nearby ship dock. Awaiting for us was the Coruscant Freighter that I inherited from one of smugglers I offed a couple months ago.
As we closed in on our ride, I pinged it a signal to drop the landing ramps. Wires dragged the goods onto the ship while I headed for the cockpit.
There was nothing special about the ship, the interior was plain as the previous owner didn't make many modifications to it. Good enough for a smuggler though, it has a decent amount of cargo space and blends in with the other ships around it.
Taking I seat I start up the systems one by one making sure everything still works. It's been a while since I flew this thing and I'm not wanting any problems from it. All is good though everything was working fine so chances are there'll be no chances of having a crash landing.
Moments later the doors behind me slide open, revealing Wires in his disguised form. He takes a seat as I begin flying the ship over to one of the many abyss like holes that reach down go the lowest levels of the city.
It didn't take long for us to reach the large vertical passages, getting in position for descent I lowered the thrusters which caused the ship to begin sinking downwards.
Curiously I looked out the window in the scenery, although I've been up this passage once before, the sheer scale of the planet wide city. The different levels passed by the window, each one having their own variety of activities and places to go.
Although there's a clear downward trend in cleanliness and overall liveability. The spotlights and flashing billboards dotted around the levels give those who pass by a peak into the shadier parts of Coruscant.
Unlike the surface, it's rare for anyone to catch a cleaning droids doing the rounds down here. My guess is the governments just choosing to save some cash since they wont hear anything about it from the citizens anyway. The super rich on the surface feel as if those who dwell underground are beneath them, while the peasantry in the underground grow used to the conditions after living in them for so long.
Growing tired of the scenery, I turn to my droid companion and said "Want to do something productive and set up a sentry in front of the ramp".
No chance I'm leaving the ship un guarded while we trek around looking for a black market. The people around these parts would steal the salt of your meal if you gave them a chance. That's why I'm not, anyone that's climbs up that ramp unauthorized is getting plugged full of laser bolts. I'll have it hooked up to my wrist guard so I know when someone's tried their luck.
Grumbling he gets off his seat "You know since you came back it feels like I've constantly been productive, where's the droid rights?".
"Listen, I'm just trying to give you a bit of exercise, you know get the joints loosened up a bit after staying indoors from so long" I said as a data card was plugged into one of the ships available slots.
The trips going to be a while so instead of listening to the clanks of Wires things together I decided to stick some tunes on.
While we were doing the clean up operation on Escander, to make it less boring I decided to play some music through a speaker so all the clones could listen in. As I watched the clones jam away while they powered through with their work, an idea struck me.
I should get a frequency on the holonet, if you don't know what that is, it's basically the star wars equivalent of a radio station.
All I'd need to do is play a couple of tunes, then slap the adverts on for a few minute and watch the cash roll in. I can see it already, clones on battlefields all over the galaxy listening in to alleviate their boredom. Could even give shout outs to the boys in the field like a certain GBX once done back in the motherland.
So with some stead cash flow on the horizon I get to work bootlegged songs from earth for the remainder of the trip down the underworld portal.

{Level 1313}
Docking the ship in a run down area, I make sure to have Wires check the sentry before we leave. Seeing the connection between the sentry my my wrist guard, meant we're good to go. Lowering the ramp, me and the droid exit the ship with the cargo of E-5 blasters trailing behind us.
Normally you'd have to pay a toll to park your ship on a new level, but where there were no droids taking tolls and all the machines were busted. Therefore we just passed through into the gloomy city ahead.
Coruscant level 1313, famous in the underworld for its high crime rates and low police presence. This makes it the ideal place for scum and villainy to gather and make whatever deals they need to before laying low till the next one.
The permanent darkness that encapsulates the entire floor, along with the various tall shadow buildings gave the place a dangerous feel compared to the bright vibrant colours you'd see on the surface.
The time of the day doesn't matter down here when it's dark all year round, so the streets were as busy as they will ever be - not very. The streets are relatively quiet, a few people walking around here and there but that's about it.
To find a place where we could sell the good, we walked over to a nearby food and drink establishment. Above the entrance was a crooked billboard on it's last legs, it flickered on and off as the door creaked open underneath it.
The inside was rundown and unkempt, the entire room had a musky stench from all the alcohol drank over the years, but not letting the smell bothered me I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. Nothing to heavy, just a double of jet juice to keep me ticking over.
The Jillsarian bartender was speedy about it, guess having four arms helps with pouring drinks. Seconds later a large muscular hand places a drink down on the table in front of me.
Looking left and right, everyone was minding there own business so I called out to the bartender before he left "You will give me information about nearby black markets" making a small gesture with my hand as I talk.
The Large man froze up for a moment before replying "I will give you information about nearby black markets" in his deep baritone voice.
Doing the same action I said "You will write down the information on paper".
"I will write down the information on paper" he reached under the bar with one of his arm putting the paper on the table and taking out a pen from his pocket.
Seeing the mind trick worked just fine I tilted the bottom of my mask up, giving me enough room to drink the liquor I was just given.
Not long after I finished, the Jillsarian was finished leaving us to go and attend other customers as if nothing happens. Mind tricks are a terrifying, they make you do something at the will of another and while you feel as if your actions are completely normal and justified, and that's not even going into the more extreme versions of the technique.
Getting what I came for, we left for one of the addresses on the paper. Of course before that I left the credits for the drink on the counter, need to help out the small businesses.
It never took us long to arrive at the first location, we end up at a large plaza surrounded by plain looking building. There was many stalls around, the layout made it look like a typical market you'd find on many planets off world.
Walking through past the stalls I could see a variety of legal and illegal items, varying form completely normal items that were only being sold here so they don't get taxed, to unlicensed ship part and blaster carbines.
The people here all looked hardened, the majority wore masks or some other kind of facial clothing to hide their face, while to ones that didn't were from a species where it wouldn't matter if they wore one or not.
After making our way past several shop and a variety of people, I spotted a stall that had a variety of different grenades and small fire arms. Stepping past the people looking at the stock, I see a dark green trandoshan with his feet up looking at something on his holo pad.
"Are you the owner here?" I questioned.
"You interested?" he said before he noticed the floating cargo I had behind me.
"No but I think you'll be interested in what I've got" I told him.
He signals to one of the others watching the shop before pointing behind him and saying "Follow me".
Stepping through the curtain I quickly examine the room we were brought into, not seeing anything suspicious I continue the conversation.
"I've got some blasters here that could be yours, for the right price of course" I said signalling wires to move pass me the cargo.
"What are we dealing with then, If they're worth it I'm sure we can come to an agreement" The reptile hissed.
Sliding the top of the box slightly I take out one of the blasters, " E-5 blaster rifle's, 50 of them, all in good condition" as I spoke I could see the big lizards eyes light up.
"I'm looking to get rid of all these at the one time for...say 1200 each" I offered already knowing I was asking for too much.
The Trandoshan raised his voice at this "1200 each that's robbery! I wouldn't even be able to make any money selling them. 950 each sounds fair."
"tsk, that's barely over retail price. No way, I can do 1050 each if you buy all of them."
He thought for a moment and said "You drive a hard bargain but fine. I can do that".
Before we closed the deal I asked "I'll be need a bit of information as well though, I'm looking for something sensitive"
Closing the distance I quietly tell him what I was looking for. He thought for a moment and wrote something down and told me "Go to this place, they're not part of a bigger organisation. Say Cressc sent you."
"It's a pleasure doing business with you Cressc. I hope we can stay in touch for other deals similar to this one" I said as we finished the exchange.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!

Still looking for a name for the Bar.
