Chapter 11- Addie – Leading up to the Wedding Part 1 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

I wanted to have a small, informal banquet for the arrival of the wedding guests, which included more than just my friends from the Academy and their families, but I was overruled about that. 

"Addie, it simply isn't possible. The wedding is in four days, and the staff is already working triple time to make sure everything is perfect. A banquet simply isn't feasible at this time. We can, however, invite all the guests to join us for dinner in the formal dining hall in the palace. That is all we can do, I am afraid." Callum shot down my idea almost instantly. I knew he was right, but it was hard for me to let it go. I wanted to welcome everyone as they arrived, and to show them my appreciation for them having made the journey to celebrate with us.
