Rose took out the golden book from her bag and gave it to KALEB. 

- I found the book, take it.

KALEB couldn't believe what did just happen. Rose was giving him the book that will show him the way to destroy her kind. As for Meredith, she was shocked. She didn't expect to see that book out of the house.

- STOP, ROSE! DON'T GIVE HIM THAT BOOK!

Rose put the book in KALEB'S hands, then she looked at her mother.

- Please, mother. I want to do this.

- WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH THAT BOOK IS DANGEROUS! THE WEREWOLVES WILL USE IT TO DESTROY US!

- I know that. I read the book.

KALEB became even more surprised:

" If she knows that this book will lead to her destruction, why did she give it to me? Is she this desperate to show her good deeds toward us? "
