RUN AWAY

"I am supposed to take care of myself. I am trained for that and in fact it is on me to protect my pack."

Lia reasoned not because she was confident of being safe but the more he stays, the more regret she gets. She started to develop feelings for the boy even if it only took a couple of days. He was incomparable in the charisma and aura which he was radiating around her even when he was doing nothing but breathing. Noah was not at all happy about staying back or helping her but he was trying to act an omega for once.

"That is not when you are carrying."

His only concern was the cubs in her and wanted to protect them because his mother was always crying over the cubs which got killed when she was pregnant. There was a small war which happened when Noah was small in their region, something like a local fight but that started a fire unknowingly. Noah remembers the night in particular when his mother held his hand and started running to the door, the fire spread all over almost choking the little boy.

He was crying not being able to see anything, not being able to turn to the animal self just like his mother and father did when there were emergencies. He felt useless and at the same time scared about what would happen next because the door was literally on fire. His mother was not supposed to turn to wolf as she had cubs in her, that is what his father told him. He was supposed to take care of his mother when his father was not around, but what could a eight year old boy who is pathetic and fragile could do?

"Noah, what happened?" Lia asked pulling the boy's hands stronger because the boy was zoned out in the middle of battle ground.

"I am not going. I can't leave you." He said totally rooting himself to the place not even moving a muscle.

"Really? You were the one blaming me till now for your bad fate and why do you suddenly flip?" Lia left the boy's hand and stared at him with a questionable expression.

"I can't avoid this situation again and again. I can't let any cub die." He demanded pushing her back to the big banyan tree.

"What are we going to do now?" Lia asked with her eyes fixed on the boy who was trapping her in between the tree and his big hands.

"Get over with your revenge if the plan is safe or else you are coming with me." He said with no stuttering or confusion as if he has fixed everything on his own.

"W-what? Come to where?"

"Where ever I am going, away from this crazy realm."

"I am the Luna and you are asking me to flee? To abandon my pack?" She asked anger fuming in her eyes thinking how weak, the boy took her for.

"Are you going to show your skills now? Literally everyone here despise you, including your parents. You have cubs who is solely your responsibility so instead of showing off, you need to find a way to protect them. Revenge is fair but only after you secure yourself." He huffed as his grip from the tree loosened.

"Really? I am powerful even now to beat him, I am capable of keeping myself safe and sound." She growled back.

Her self respect was getting hurt every time he spoke to her and that was mainly because she knows, he is not lying. She herself knows, how weak she was and how weak she is appearing even now. She had to seek help from an omega showing how much dependent she was.... Oliver really flipped the table over night.

"Are you coming with me or are you gonna tell me how to get back at your enemies?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"I want to kill him before he brings another misfortune to the realm. I want him dead before he could use the forbidden spell over my pack." Her each word was stressed reflecting her anger.

"..."

Lia looked at the boy who didn't answer anything to that but kept a poker face at her. Lia looked back to see if anyone else was coming their way that the boy stood still making no movement. The woods looked calm and there was not even a wind that could distract the boy, so she shifted the focus back to his hazel brown eyes which was already fixed on her.

"What?" She asked and that is when the boy burst out to a loud laughter and she immediately put her hands over his mouth to shush him.

"Hmmmahmmm." He mumbled.

"Shush." Lia warned before letting go off his mouth and His wet lips had left a small mark in her skin.

"Uff, you were being funny." He said rubbing lips lips with his sleeve.

"I was being serious."

"Okay fine, geeez." He said as if he is surrendering to her with hands in the air and a playful smirk in his butterfly lips which slightly changed red due to his immense rubbing.

"Noah, you can really go and I would send you away by myself. Please don't bother to stay back just to demotivate me."

"Seriously, if this is your plan then I better escape because I don't want any more trouble. I again advice you to leave with me if you want your cubs alive."

"I don't care at this point because these are his cubs which means they would be evil too." She scoffed pushing him off her.

"Okay, that is it. We are going now." He said pulling her hands to the end of the woods, according to what he have heard about it.

"Noah, stop it." Lia hissed walking behind the boy.

"The cubs are innocent and they had no idea about their father cheating. they had no idea that they would be born as a wolf too. They are not the one to be punished for your mistakes.' He angrily spat at her still making his way through the trees and bushes.
