Nancy furrowed her brows at the man laughing at her tears.
"Seriously, fuck you!" Nancy sulked away once again.
Samuel reached his hand out to her cheek, wiping her tears away from either side of her face as she glared at him sternly.
"Fret not," Samuel assured her. "I could not have guessed in a million years that you would cry for your mere bodyguard."
"How the fuck do you not fret?" Nancy mocked him amidst her tears.
"By giving in." Samuel casually replied, "By accepting everything."
Nancy couldn't stand him. She stood up and left the lounge to the first door that came her way. It happened to be his bedroom. She closed the door with her back, slowly sliding onto the floor in a sorrow she had never before felt.
Samuel was going to end it all once they allowed Bradley to leave.
