Sunday nights were quiet at Indiscreet. They had a small collaring ceremony at eleven and Jim had told the head waiter and the chef that he would stop by to insure everything was going as planned. Reed wondered if he would bring his date or come alone. Either outcome had its pitfalls. Reed was madly curious about this Caleb that sent Jim tulips at work, and brought the happy expression to Jim’s face that Reed had never managed to put there. On the other hand, Reed was afraid of over reacting to Caleb and having a jealous fit, a fit he swore to Bear he could control. It was six p.m. Reed needed to get dressed and go down to the club and make like he wasn’t distracted as hell until eleven.
