Rémy came out of Murphy’s office. “Murphy had enough to arraign those three young punks on burglary. Thank the gods, Colin wasn’t home, you didn’t miss them by much time. One of those thugs dropped his knife trying to keep hold of the flat screen when he heard you on the stairs.”

Marc’s eyes met Colin’s. “I don’t want you going back there, what is left to pack?”

“Can the Enforcers pack the rest of the books and the music? Those are the only things left that are worth anything. I’ve already packed my clothing.”

“Yes, baby, now let’s go shopping, first stop, Best Buy.” They got into the limousine with the rest and headed over to Best Buy. Four Betas were behind them in the Navigator.

Armand followed Marc and Colin into the store. He trailed them to the computer aisle. As soon as Colin and Marc started searching for a computer they had a dust-up.

“I want you to get this one,” Marc argued.

Colin told him, “No, it’s too big.”
