Chapter 94: School bully and Discussing research project

Bai Yi Yang woke up at 5.15 am like yesterday, get ready and woke her siblings up. Go to the kitchen and steamed 6 buns with vegetables filling. But then, she proceed with two more tiers of steamer with a few more steamed buns. Lastly, she reheat their pork bone soup from last night.

After that, she fill each of their bowl with soup and the remaining one was put inside a tightly sealed container, the 10 or something extra buns was also put inside a big clean plastic bag. This is for Old Zhou family to eat.

Other than that, there is also a smaller sealed container and a single meat bun in a sealed plastic. This is for TongTong to eat during lunch. TongTong told her that it wanted to follow the children to the Old Zhou family to see what they look like, TongTong is just curious. But, at the same time TongTong heard about Zhu Yao jiejie hellish cooking, since it will be too far to go to the top of mountain to eat fruits, it wanted a packed lunch, just like how the puppies has their own formula milk.

'How about I buy some canned cats food for you? Try asking some other cats from the village if they are delicious or not.' Bai Yi Yang was actually a bit worried. TongTong is still a cat in the end, is it getting enough nutrition from the food that she gave it?

Bai Yi Yang is not scared of them so she casually passed by them, they were laughing and conversing using rough languages, something cursing at each other while joking. When they walk passed Bai Yi Yang, Bai Yi Yang didn't make an eye contact or have a scared look, so they lose interest to tease her.

"A little beauty.." One of the boy comment as he look at Bai Yi Yang passing them. Bai Yi Yang pretend not to hear and just walk by.

"She looks a bit familiar.." A girl said.

"Hey! You, stop." The same girl said, she have a short hair that is cut in an emo girl style. Actually all of them have similar style, just a bunch of high school gangsters wannabe that like gothic styles, Bai Yi Yang thought. She knows who that girl is calling but she just ignored them.

The short haired girl feels annoyed that she was ignored so she decided to pull on Bai Yi Yang high ponytail. She finally remember, isn't this pretty girl with big ribbon on her head is the one the other girls are talking about now, she is the one who always stick with Bai Yi Chen. She also finds Bai Yi Chen handsome, and quite like him. When she heard about this pretty girl staying next to him, she was quite annoyed.

However, before she can do so, her hand was pushed away roughly, it was Bai Yi Yang who do so.

"How did I offend you again? Care to remind me?" Bai Yi Yang frown and face the short haired girl with gothic style.

"You dare to ignore me?! You must be new, you don't know how I will make your school life hell." The gothic girl said threateningly.

"Oh really. Of course I know, Surname Zhen, Su, Yin, Dong, Ling, Li and Song. You all are from class 4 right?" Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ah, a mistake..you surnamed Zhen is from class 3. Hello there." Bai Yi Yang smile, she is referring to the short haired gothic girl who wanted to attack her.

"You know us?" A boy in the group ask..

"Of course. And as I remember I never offended any of you in any way, why do you suddenly have the urge to pull my hair? The one surnamed Zhen." Bai Yi Yang said.

"She is right, lets just leave.."One of the girl in the group said. She can see that this pretty girl in front of them is not someone that they can messed with.

"You shut up! Can't you see that she hit my arm?" The one surnamed Zhen said in anger.

"So annoying. Then you take care of it." The boy that seems to be their leader doesn't want to meddle in a girl fight so he bring the rest of the boys to leave. The two girls also doesn't want to get involved but they can't really leave their friend alone.

"Are you Bai Yi Chen girlfriend?" The girl ask. Bai Yi Yang finally understand why she attract the girls rage.

"Wether I am his girlfriend or not, what does it have anything to do with you?" Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"B**ch!" The girl curse and wanted to slap her on the face. Bai Yi Yang was about to kick her when Sir Austin voice can be heard from afar.

"Stop!"

The three girls panicked and ran. However, that one specific girl still give a warning look at Bai Yi Yang. Bai Yi Yang smirk and this makes her angrier.

When Sir Austin come to her, he ask if Bai Yi Yang is okay. Bai Yi Yang nod and follow him into the chemistry lab. Sir Austin warn her a few times, not to be associate with them. They are kids who likes to break the rules and cause trouble at school. Bai Yi Yang only nod to that.

After that, they start discussing about the serious matter. Bai Yi Yang told Sir Austin her proposal, she is going to do the writing matter, results of the research can be given to her and she can make a report.

"How long will the lab work be?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"About 1 month, at most 1 month and a half but I usually takes another half a month to a month to write my report." Sir Austin said.

"Then we can finish this in 1 month and a half time. I will start doing the research paper as soon as possible, by the time the results is out, we just only need to process and add the results and it will be complete." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Student Bai, you really know how to write research paper? It is not like writing high school essays. You have seen how long my journals are, the English words used are complex." Sir Austin said worriedly. Research papers have many scientific words that may be difficult for even someone who is fluent in English.

"Yes, when I am done with the introduction part, I will show it to you so that you can be assured Sir Austin." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Good, good. It won't be too late to learn by that time." Sir Austin didn't reject her suggestion, he will see later. Anyway, he can just help write them if she can't do it.

"How about the team?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"I also think what you said is right, I have two people in mind, but both of them are seniors, so I am not sure if they wanted to join a long and difficult project like this. Another one is in Grade 11, well she is a school debater.." Sir Austin steal a glance at Bai Yi Yang.

"..but she is quite interested in science, she is our R&D club leader. She can be quite talkative but overall I think she will be a good addition to the team." Sir Austin add again when Bai Yi Yang doesn't seems to oppose the idea.

"Then she should be in. If she is in R&D club, the leader on top of that, she should be in." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"But you said..you don't like schools sending out their debater.." Sir Austin said. Bai Yi Yang laugh at this.

"What I mean is if they are there just a presenter who didn't even get involved in the real projects." Bai Yi Yang said. Sir Austin also laugh, well, since it is like this, he already have a few in mind if the two seniors reject the offer.

A team must consist of 4-5 Senior High School students, there is also a category for Junior high school student but they won't be sending one this year. Sir Austin only suggested a senior team.

The principal was overjoyed, isn't this why he bring Sir Austin over. If they can even enter the final which is too big of a dream, their school name will soar like a phoenix. Yesterday, when Sir Austin was telling him his proposal about the research topic, Sir Austin face looks beaming, he was explaining that if they do this research, they will surely make a big name and their school will at least be in the top 5 no matter what.

Sir Austin and Bai Yi Yang then discussed on the objectives and research questions, Sir Austin already had made a few research questions from Bai Yi Yang suggestions yesterday. Since Bai Yi Yang has read further on the same issue, and other similar research paper, she also ends up adding a few more.

"This much? Will we be able to do this? This is good since we will cover almost everything but this will be a hard work. I may even take longer than a month doing this report." Sir Austin feels regretful, only if they have longer time.

"Sir Austin, let's continue with this. I am confident, you can focus on the lab work and I will do the report. Believe me." Bai Yi Yang said. Sir Austin thought for a while and nod. Bai Yi Yang is really capable, she surely won't be saying empty words.

"Okay, let's do it. If we can't finish, we will just present what we have done, that can earn us a lot of marks too. We will then publish the full version later." Sir Austin said.

After that, Bai Yi Yang also took note of the points so that she can start writing. They promised to meet again tomorrow morning at the same time since Sir Austin will need to find the team members for the research team today. Tomorrow they will meet as a whole team.

Since their first class today is chemistry so she just waited until her classmates come for class. She chat about a few more things with Sir Austin, they really utilise the time well.
