The information that Yu Linyun ran out of the village without anyone finding out was spread all over the village, after all, the village was only this big. There was no big or small secret in the village. 

"Brother Chen, did you hear? Your second aunt ran out of the village without anyone noticing," one of the mers who was working in the paddy fields, saw Chen Mi and immediately walked out of the fields to gossip with Chen Mi.
