"I don't want to see you any closer to my store, demon boy! You scare away my clientele!" the boy looked around him, those hideous faces, those eyes. They all look at him and talk behind his back.

'Because they hate me?' A question that is always on his mind. This was not the first time that he had been unwelcome in a trade.

'Why?!' He closed his eyes, no longer wanting to see the venomous looks everyone gave him. He ran and ran, his fingernails leaving marks on his palms from the force.

He walked away from the main street, he wanted to return to his house, but as it was obvious, he had an accident.

"Ugh, it hurts!" A high-pitched cry, like a small child, came from him. He tripped in the middle of the hard walk home.

"How am I going to be the Hokage if I'm so weak?!" With tears gathering in his eyes, he groaned to himself. He tried to clean himself with his dirty hands, he got muddy.

He looked down at his knees, bloody and soiled. "Damn it!" a scream came from his mouth.

Lying on the dirty dirt floor he started a lunge at the ground.

"I'm fed up!" A dry thud could be heard.

"Why?!" Another blow, he ignored the physical pain, he didn't care.

The drops from his eyes continued to soak into the ground.

How had he ended everything like this? The dream of two idealistic young people to create a peaceful place, a better world, where children would no longer have reasons to cry, it seemed that nothing had changed.

The blond boy's bruised fist was stopped by a delicate hand.

"My name? It's Nori, but you can call me Nori-chan" the girl's smile was still there.

"I-I... I'm Uzumaki Naruto!" Nori's smile stopped, she froze.

'Does such a cute child have something so horrible inside?'

Nori, still a bit hesitant, took Naruto's hand.

"W-where is your house, Naruto-kun?"

"My house? Mmmm... Follow me, I'll guide you!" He gripped Nori's hand tightly and began to walk faster.

"I was going to my house, but I fell hahahahahaha" now Nori knew what happened, part of it.

"Let's go up!" The apartment was on another 2 floors, you had to climb a ladder. Nori nodded.

Naruto moved like a fish in water and went up quickly, he had already gotten used to it. She followed close behind. The door was opened by Naruto.

'What was that? That noise did not come from the door' The girl looked everywhere, a noise had come out of nowhere.

"S-sorry, it was my stomach…" Nori looked at him, Naruto with a face redder than a tomato, embarrassment consumed him. Naruto rubbed his head and looked away.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!" Nori couldn't help it, a big laugh came out.

"Let's go in, I'm going to be nice and make you something to eat!"

He was red as ever, but her day just kept getting better. Naruto is happy. The boy finally entered, the long-haired girl followed him.

But she stopped him, the blond was confused. The girl grabbed him by the shoulders.

"D-did something happen?" Nori crouched down and her gaze fixed on him.

"You will be the Hokage, Naruto, so work hard" a tender look came from Nori, that left the blonde shocked.

No one before, apart from her Jiji, had told her that she would fulfill her dream.

He didn't know what to say, emotion flooded him.

"T-thank you!" In the end, his mouth moved on its own.
