After half a month of continuous climbing and so many incidents, Bi Fang didn't want to delay any longer. He decided to make a summit bid early this morning.
Today is the ninth, and after midnight it will be the best summit window announced by the meteorological bureau.
And judging from Bi Fang's own experience, the weather has been too good these two days. Apart from the strong wind, there has been no snowfall - but it's abnormal for Mount Everest to have no wind.
After completing his acclimatization exercises at noon, Bi Fang announced his decision, "We'll make a push at dawn, straight to the summit!"
The audience in front of the screen was thrilled. Why were they watching the live broadcast if not to see Bi Fang successfully summit?
