108. Loli Slayer

Seeing Eveam who seemed to be interested in Hiiro who had just arrived at the capital of Xaos, Shublars grinned. Shublars teased Eveam by whispering to her.

"Does Your Majesty have a special relationship with that man?" Shublars pointed at Hiiro, which made Eveam's face turn red.

"I-it's not what you think!" Eveam denied it.

"Arara, Your Majesty looks so cute when you are embarrassed."

Even though Eveam was the ruler of Evila, her ascension to rulership was due to the absence of the previous Demon Lord who was confirmed to have died at that time. In reality, the previous demon lord managed to survive his supposed-to-be death.

Eveam is still in her teens, so it's no wonder she is attracted to the opposite sex. She needs someone willing to accommodate the problems she shares because being a ruler makes her mentally drained. It would make Eveam's heart more relieved if her problem could be shared with someone. And the one Eveam had in mind was Hiiro.

"Excuse me, Your Majesty, I originally intended to introduce this brat to you, but I don't think I need to anymore since you're already in a secret relationship." Izumi suddenly said while pointing at Hiiro.

"Izumi, what do you mean by 'this brat'? I'm even older than you!"

"I-Izumi, I'm not in a secret relationship with him!"

Hiiro responded to Izumi's words in annoyance, while Eveam, with a flushed face, tried to refute Izumi's words. Izumi ignored Eveam's rebuttal and asked Hiiro.

"Eh, how old are you?"

"18!"

Hearing Hiiro's age, Izumi turned his head towards Eveam and said.

"The same age as you, Your Majesty!"

"Your Majesty, it looks like he's a match for you!" Shublars also joined in teasing Eveam with a seductive voice.

With the two people teasing Eveam, she covered her blushing face with embarrassment. Meanwhile, Hiiro tilted his head in confusion.

"What the hell are you guys talking about?"

Izumi rolled his eyes. Izumi could only think that Hiiro was too dense.

"Hiiro, you often read books right?" asked Izumi.

"Yeah right, then what does that have to do with what you said earlier?"

Hiiro nodded, but what Hiiro said next made Izumi snap and point his finger at Hiiro.

"What the fuck are you saying!? You often read novels, are you? Have you never read romance novels? You must have, I'm sure! How can you be this dumb?"

Hiiro's face blackened, he couldn't accept being called dumb. Especially by Izumi.

"What do you mean I'm dumb? Even though I've read romance novels, so what? It's none of your business!"

"If you've ever read romance novels— sigh, forget it! Never mind what I said."

But then, what Hiiro said next annoyed Izumi.

"Why are you discussing romance here? This has nothing to do with it!"

"Of course there is!! Ahhhh, what a fool. Looks like I'll have to teach you later."

Izumi couldn't help but sigh, trying to hold himself back so as not to hit him. Izumi was just irked with this dense guy, that was why he wanted to beat him up. From Eveam's expression, it was clear that she liked Hiiro, although Izumi didn't know what caused Eveam to like him.

Moments later, Shublars took Eveam back to the palace. Leaving Izumi, Hiiro, and Nikki at the tavern. Nikki said that she found an inn, but Izumi said there was no need. They were able to live in Izumi's mansion since there were still unused rooms. With the arrival of Hiiro and his group, the mansion should become less deserted. Izumi also didn't really like being in the mansion alone, so he wanted to invite Hiiro and the others to stay at his place.

Hiiro wanted to refuse, but since Izumi tempted Nikki that she could live in the big house, Nikki urged Hiiro to accept. He couldn't resist after looking at her pleading eyes. And then, Hiiro told Nikki to pick up Mikazuki who was already at the inn. Swiftly, Nikki immediately ran to the inn where Mikazuki was.

Arriving at the mansion, Izumi still felt Liliyn's aura inside. It looked like Liliyn and her two servants had no intention of leaving.

Izumi led Hiiro, Nikki, and Mikazuki into the mansion, where they were greeted by Shamoe, Liliyn's maid afterward.

Hiiro was surprised to see Liliyn, Silvan, and Shamoe inside Izumi's mansion. He was astonished. Given Liliyn's stubborn nature, Hiiro had no idea what magic Izumi had used to bring Liliyn to his mansion.

Hiiro's identity had probably been exposed by Liliyn for not understanding Evila's ins and outs. Meanwhile, Izumi was not like that. He could even become Evila's most important person in the span of half a year. Hiiro couldn't imagine Izumi being forced to reveal his true identity to Liliyn given his much stronger status.

"Red loli, how did you guys get to his mansion?" Hiiro pointed his index finger at Izumi.

"He forced me! And it's also because of you Hiiro." Liliyn said while pouting.

"Why would it be me? Also, Izumi, since when did you become such a generous person to even invite them to your mansion? Don't tell me you like little girls."

"I don't want to hear those words from you. First is Muir, then Wii, and now there are even three little girls. Aren't you the one who likes little girls? Perhaps, you've earned the title of "Loli Slayer" by now."

Being called the "Loli Slayer" more than once, Hiiro's expression changed, then he recited "status" silently.

Titles in the world of Edea weren't earned just because someone called them by those titles. But, it also showed one's true nature as well.

When Izumi noticed the change in Hiiro's expression, Izumi laughed at him.

"Hahaha, Looking at your face, I'm sure you just got the title, are you?"

"Damn Izumi!" Hiiro tried to pull his katana out of the sheath. Izumi stopped him with a gesture.

"Don't try to go against me! Even though almost all of my abilities are sealed, I can still make you kiss the ground."

Hiiro was really irritated with Izumi. He disliked being looked down upon by someone. However, Izumi's attitude is not without reason. He wanted to imply that Hiiro was overly confident in his strength without knowing that anyone else besides Izumi could make him helpless. Therefore Izumi deliberately provoked him.

Hiiro already knew any magic would be useless in front of Izumi. However, Hiiro also thought that considering his base status was already high enough, there must be an opening if he fought Izumi. Hiiro felt that he had a chance to win with his fairly high status.

Hiiro still remembered Izumi's abilities. Although he didn't understand the magic called Rules of the Area, what he could remember was, Izumi's magic was a space attribute. Thus, he could only think that Izumi's magic was some kind of teleportation magic.

"Heee, you seemed so eager to fight me. If that's what you want, let's change the location. Also, I'll give you a handicap to fight me."

"A handicap?" Hiiro could only hold his anger in his heart, Izumi really looked down on Hiiro. Hiiro had already experienced a battle that could take his life when he had been adventuring these past few months. He was just thinking, how could someone who just lived effortlessly have an experience like Hiiro's? He was sure that his experience was far more than Izumi's.

"You think you can beat me without a handicap? Don't be too overconfident! Besides, this will also be training for me. Follow me!" Izumi said while also leading the others to somewhere within his mansion. He triggered a certain mechanism that led them to the dungeon, the place where Izumi used to train for the past few months.
