Then he said to Caleb as he opened a golden portal, "Come with me; we have to talk about things that don't concern the humans of this world."

Caleb looked at him and nodded, but instead of going to the portal, he walked over to Kelan and pushed him until he was against the wall. After kissing him breathlessly, he just said to him, "Wait for me, little Lan; I won't be long."

He kissed him fiercely one last time and turned around to go through the golden portal that Mykael had already crossed without waiting for him.
