[Ch. 83] Moao, The Marshmallow (past)

I woke up and felt something heavy laying on top of me. I looked to see Kaito resting his head on my chest. He noticed my movement and quickly jolted up, "You're alive!"

I sat up, "Mmn."

He gave a sigh of relief, "I thought you were dead. You haven't moved in days!"

I reached out and rubbed his head to soothe him, "Mmn." 

I walked out of the cave with Kaito still holding onto me. I was greeted by a small group of people who had already gotten comfortable with their new living arrangement. The elderly man approached me, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Juang Shi."

"Mmn." 

The rest of the group began to also introduce themselves with their names. Juang laughed, "I'm sure you won't remember all of that, but we just wanted to thank you again for freeing us."

"Mmn."

Mi, an elderly woman, spoke, "We were worried. You slept for three days!"

"Mmn. I used too much magic."

"We were worried something worse happened."
