Wiped out

Everyone was shocked when they heard that Trahso suddenly disappeared from behind.

"How could he just disappear like thin air? Did halluti release its illusion gas to attract him?" David said.

"No… I don't think halluti is behind Trahso's disappearance because if that was the case then why it didn't affect me or any of us?" Galena said. She was confused too.

"David, I think he ditched us and ran away while we were busy fighting with these damn wolves," Leon said in his cold tone which was colder than ever before. He was a little surprised too when he heard that Trahso got disappeared. But he was well versed about Trahso's character so it didn't take him much time to figure out what happened. But even Leon didn't think Trahso would try to do such a stupid thing. This forest was home to many monsters it's much better to stick together and face them instead of roaming alone.

"What that bastard used us as bait and run away! I knew that he was not trustworthy at all but to leave us like this, that damn bastard." Pure rage took over Sam when heard that Trahso ditched them. He bolted toward the night saber wolf, the one he had minorly injured a while ago to vent out his anger. 

"Sam... wait!?" Leon tried to stop him but because of anger, he didn't listen to him.

Sam got very angry at Trahso that he wanted to vent all his anger on the night fang wolves. he successfully sent one Night saber wolf's head flying. But the other night saber wolf jumped at him with their sharp claws and jaws.

"David, quickly lend me your sword," Leon said when he saw Sam irrationally charging toward the night saber wolves like that. He knew that Sam may get in danger so he asked David to lend him his sword.

David didn't waste his time and give him his sword. However, he didn't have any idea what Leon was going to do with his sword.

Leon quickly imbued the sword with his fire magic and cut that Night saber wolf down and saved Sam. David shuddered with shock, the wolf was cut in two like paper and the corpse suddenly catch fire where it had been cut. 

Leon didn't waste any time and dashed to cut other Night saber wolves. With no one commanding them properly, they also jumped at him instinctively. But with the blazing sword in his hand, they all faced the same fate.

Seeing all pack members die the last Night saber wolf decided to run for his life. But David didn't let him escape like the orc he fought yesterday. He threw Leon's sword toward the last Night saber Wolf with full force. The sword pierced through his heart. Everything was over with the Night saber wolf's last howl.

Galena started to heal everyone, the injuries were not severe that's why it healed immediately. 

Leon confronted Sam and told him how foolish his actions were and he could have died back there if he didn't have used his special skill which he learned from David's father.

Sam apologized to everyone for his rash action. Leon forgave him because he knew that Trahso and Sam didn't like each other one bit.

Sam hates Trahso from the very core of his being. Because of past grievances, Sam always tried to avoid him as much as he could.

Although they didn't like each other from the start, it got worst almost one and a half years ago.

Trahso was also living his life goofing around and flirting with girls. When Like any other day, Trahso saw a beautiful girl and tried to flirt with her. He grabbed her hand and started to molest her.

Coincidentally Sam was passing from there at first he tried to avoid him like always but when he saw the girl's face his eyes became red in anger, he clenched his fist and ran towards him and punched him in the face.

He got Trahso completely off guard and started to punch him in the face with full power. Sam was so enraged that he did not even care that his knuckles were started to bleed. The girl stops him because she knew if she did not him now then things would get messy.

The girl Trahso tried to flirt with turned out to be sam's fiancee, seeing the blood in his hand she started crying and told him sorry again and again, she didn't do anything wrong but she apologized to him continuously. Sam hugged her tightly and started to stroke her head.

The next day the village chief came to Sam's house with his grandson and apologized to him and his fiancee. Although they forgave him, the resentment of even just one day would last for eternity. Both of them still hate each other.

Sam married his fiancee last year and was living a happy life. Sam also started to learn sword skills from Leon and David so he could protect his wife and loved ones.

Trahso ran away somewhere in this dangerous forest and they had to find him as soon as possible, the village chief trusted his grandson's responsibility in David's hands.

"Everyone, you all know that Trahso runs away somewhere and he also doesn't know the way of the village like us, he might be in danger right now. we have to find him quickly." David said with a worried face. 

"Wha-what!? Why do you want to save that bastard? He abandoned us when we got into trouble. Just leave him to die." Sam was still enraged with Trahso and was against the decision to find him, which was understandable.

"He is lost, we are lost. On top of that this forest's filled with numerous dangerous and vicious creatures how would he face them alone?" David said.

"Sam, the village chief trusted me with his grandson's safety. If something happened to him then I could never make eye contact with the village chief in my life." David tried to convince him.

"It was me who forced him to come here and I also didn't properly keep an on that fool so I must take responsibility too." Leon also decided to go with David to find Trahso.

But he was breathing heavily and his hands were trembling. David noticed it and asked him the cause.
