Chapter 16: First Day of Shooting

"Does your ass still hurt when you sit? If I remember correctly, when we last saw each other, you couldn't sit properly."

Jimin's dark brown eyes almost oozed out of his skull, he was totally caught off guard. His heart skipped a few beats and he noticed the makeup stylist stop her work on his neck for just a few seconds. He needed to save himself with a comeback before it was too late and he said the first sentence that crossed his mind. With his body jerking towards the raven-haired actor, he slapped the actor's thigh. "Y-You- don't say that!" Bashful of the comment, he sat back with heated cheeks.

"I'll take that as a yes then. See you on set Jimin-ssi~" Jungkook chuckled ignoring the bundle of nerves reacting in his thigh and got up from the chair never leaving the writer's gaze. "Thank you noona." The raven-haired actor flirtatiously winked at the stylist before he left the tent leaving the writer to mentally scoff at the actions.

"All done Mr. Park." The stylist helping the writer inspected his neck for any hints of the blemishes but found none. "Thank you Miss?" He asked for her name in a polite manner, wanting to thank her and get to know the names of the staff he'll be working with. "Ahn Christy. I prefer using my American name and I've been working as a Seesaw Studios' makeup artist for two years." She introduced herself as she shook his hand followed by bowing her head.

"Am I your oppa or are you my noona?" He replied with a smile, liking her politeness and professionalism. She seemed nice enough. "I'm thirty-one years old. Call me Christy-noona." She nodded before organizing her makeup products in their box. "Nice to meet you Christy-noona, I'm Park Jimin as your wonderful canvas." Jimin bowed his head with a friendly smile and left the sit he sat to begin his work of the day. Lastly, he knew Jungkook had officially found out he would be his co-actor colleague for the movie and was hoping his boyfriend would behave.

The classroom of professor Kim was silent but the words exchanged between glances were loud. Kim Seokjin sat in one of the chairs from the front row as he watched the student in front of him forcing himself to lose his body in the character he acted as. "I'm your brother, how could you do this to me after all I've sacrificed for you?" The student sighed after the sentence he said, he just couldn't feel it; that's why Seokjin was his acting coach.

"I didn't feel that Mr. Lee." The professor uncrossed his legs and stood up from the chair he sat in. "You should feel exactly what you say. Every actor gives their character a part of their own persona. Don't make it awkward for yourself if you don't feel the character's emotions. Put yourself in his shoes. He's sad, his younger sister is sleeping with his best friend and using him for her own pleasure. Wouldn't that make you mad?" Seokjin checked the time in his watch and looked back at the student that kept nodding his head.

"It would, but I'm a man, I don't cry easily so it's difficult for me." The student rolled his eyes before getting startled by a knock on the classroom's door. "Being a man doesn't mean you can't cry. Think about something that really breaks your heart, like the death of a family member or a pet. For our next private session I want you able to cry at least during the scene. Good bye Mr. Lee." Dismissing the student after a minor scolding, the professor walked him to the door and when it opened, he saw his own reflection in a pair of heart chrome glasses.

"Professor Kim, Good morning." Namjoon bowed his head and from the corner of his eyes he kept an innocent glare casted upon the student that just exited the classroom; but of course he would pretend he doesn't care.

"Good morning Namjoon, step inside." Masking the sudden electricity jolting in his body like fireworks with a professional tone, Seokjin let the younger male raise his head and walk past him to the inside of his classroom. "What can I help you with today? I don't remember us talking about an extra session before class starts."

"I know. I just needed to see your face for inspiration." Namjoon boldly admitted as he made his way to the space where the professor always gave his acting class. He meant every single word. The older man was his source of inspiration, especially when he cracked up a corny dad joke only to him. "Was that an attempt in flirting Mr. Kim?" Skipped a beat. Seokjin's heart skipped a beat but he maintained a solid expression, the student was crossing a line that shouldn't be crossed.

"It was an attempt at acting. Why? Did you fall for me?" It wasn't the way he said it, that had the professor ready to ignore him, it was the way he saw his own reflection again in the student's glasses. What was suddenly happening today? It must be because he forgot to drink his morning coffee. "No, I just felt uncomfortable. Don't do that again. Now seriously, why are you here? Your class starts in about three hours." Seokjin sat on the chair of his desk, rested his arms against the organized the table and leaned his chin against the palm of his hand.

"I'm here to seduce you Kim Seokjin."

"If you keep playing games with me, I'm going to regret thinking you're one of the students that might actually pay attention to my class instead of thinking all day that I'm the hot professor. I'm warning you, don't cross that line, Kim Namjoon." With a stoic expression and a shaking heart, answered the professor without batting an eye away from the male threatening his uncalled and inactive desires. He refused to acknowledge the heat crawling on his cheeks like submerging pink tempera paint inside water. Not him.

"And scene, what a beautiful performance Mr. Kim. Shall I review you what I've written for the project? I could use some advice from my favorite professor." Shameless and unbothered by the response he received, the male caught himself against the green ivy walls of a giant maze; a love maze that if he carefully followed the right way, he'd win the professor's heart.

"Mhm..." Seokjin analyzed the student that smiled warmly at him. The hollow dimples in his cheeks caused a chuckle to pass his lips and he decided to let this attempted flirting pass; after all, Namjoon was his favorite student, even if favoritism made him a bad teacher, he gave no fuck about it.

"I'm all yours for two hours, I have to keep grading these papers before your class starts." Seokjin saw the stars shining in Namjoon's eyes the moment he voiced out the sentence; he thought it was cute.

"Thank you Mr. Kim." Namjoon grinned like the cheshire cat and bowed his head.

First attempt at flirting. Check.

"I gave up the moment you betrayed me."

"I gave up the moment you betrayed me."

"I gave up the moment you betrayed me."

Finally, he had a day off from the company he worked for. After the ending of the winter season, he had his first day off of the year and what would he do? Absolutely nothing other than having a drink in the early morning. In the apartment of Kim Taehyung, the man he couldn't call his boyfriend, Jung Hoseok wore an white oversized shirt with the photograph of Eminem in red & black design, red sweatpants hanged just below the v-line of his abdomen as he did not wear underwear and his feet were embraced by soft cotton-made house slippers. Having woken up a few moments ago he had brushed his teeth and emptied his bladder, now he made his way to the kitchen in search for a specific drink that will help ease his mind from the nightmare he just had.

His brown hair was a mess and his face greasy from waking up yet he did not care a single fuck, even if his face was worth millions of wons in Korea, all he needed was a bottle of Soju. "I hate you. Don't ever appear in my dreams again." The model opened the refrigerator and scanned the right door for the green bottle of alcohol. "Fuck it. I can handle two." Grabbing two of the bottles he found, he set one on the counter and proceeded to open the other one.

"You don't understand Tae." The model talked to himself as he remembered the conversation they shared the previous night. "And hopefully you never will." After opening the bottle of Soju, he chugged down two gulps of the sour alcohol that burned down his esophagus and filled his empty stomach.

"Ahhh~" He slurped while sitting on a chair below the counter top and his features began warming up in a red flush.

"I'm sorry. I'm a horrible man, how can I do this to you?" Hoseok's irises followed to his left where he saw a framed Polaroid picture of him and Taehyung.

Back then Taehyung had his hair black for the date. Hoseok vividly remembers the day they took the selca, it was during the Asian Artist Awards of 2018, they were both the hosts for an award. To capture the moment, they took a Polaroid since the actor had insisted. "Oh Tae... You're so different." The model gulped the whole bottle down after he shifted his gaze away from the Polaroid picture.

With a head one foot inside the bottle and another sober, he had finished the bottle of soju with a scrunched expression. "I've built a tolerance for this shit, damn." He felt his heart burning as he locked eyes on the empty bottle of Soju. "I hate that I may still love you." He mumbled as he left the empty bottle on the counter to grab the other one. He hated every single feeling his heart was feeling at this moment, regret, hatred, guilt, betrayal, sorrow, and love.

Taking the bottle in his hand, he opened it and sighed after he gulped one time. Now, he was tipsy. Feeling like his head was in another world, Hoseok began to cry as he left the bottle of soju beside him and buried his face against the white fabric of his sleeves over the counter top.

"I want to be your boyfriend Tae, but I'm already. . ." His forearm muffled the words he sobbed and the alcohol beginning to work made him lose himself. The fingers of his left hand were wet with the tears that dropped on them and he continued sobbing like that. He was already drunk at 9:57 am according to the clock hanging on the wall beside the refrigerator.

"When did you find out I was going to act as Si Woon?" Jimin raised his eyebrow at the raven-haired actor who had a playful grin on his pink lips, the cold made them even a little bit more red. "Yoongi hyung texted me last night while I waited for you. I hoped you'd tell me after we made up, but it seems we had other things in mind." He kept the secret to himself, not really wanting to expose how he had planned it from the beginning since the reaction his boyfriend could have was unpredictable.

"Jungkook!" The writer panicked and bit the inside of his lip, the temptation to smack the actor was really strong. "Yeah yeah." The actor playfully rolled his eyes and they finally reached the spot where they'd begin the first day of filming.

"Hyungie!" Little Beomgyu's voice brought a smile to Jimin's face and the said boy crouched down to catch the director's son who ran in his direction. "Hyungie?" Jungkook's tone had lowered and a little dark for the writer's liking.

"Appa said we're about to start." The little boy hugged Jimin and laughed, he really liked the older male. "Okay. Oh, Beomgyu have you met with Jungkook?" He lifted the boy in his arms and turned to the young actor who was almost glaring at the kid. "The scary ahjussi?" The boy's round eyes glanced up to the raven-haired actor who kept a straight expression despite the insult shot his way; his insides were exploding. One of the reasons why I hate kids.

"A-Ahjussi?" Jimin questioned in a snigger followed by laughing at the child's comment. He found it funny how Jungkook didn't react and because he scared the little boy; amusing. "He's also your hyungie, Beomgyu-ah. Jungkook is going to act too in the movie. Now let's go, your appa wants to start." Jimin briefly introduced the two that already knew each other and let Beomgyu run back to his appa that was giving orders to the working staff.

"You've earned yourself another rough tonight. Your front is next, I hope you'll laugh next time." Jungkook scoffed and continued walking without the writer. Behind his words, the actor was implying something completely different than what the writer thought of but he brushed it off since his mind was thinking of another more important thought.

The first day of shooting 'Just A Fling' had just begun.

"Okay, first of all let's have a round of applause for everyone working here today. It's an honour to have the first day of shooting 'Just A Fling' with all of you. Today, we're shooting the candids for the poster and later we'll shoot scenes thirty-seven to thirty eight. Now, let's give a round of applause for our main actors: Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung. Oh Taehyung's getting his makeup done. Still, let's proceed." Director Min instructed with a happy expression and began applauding briefly so they could begin their work.

"Let's roll. Jimin, Jungkook, you're on standby. Kang and Won, lead them to their spots. Everyone else, go to your assigned places. And, you my little baby, Beomgyu-ah, stay with me and watch appa do his job." With a firm voice, Yoongi ordered. He loved his job.

Following the orders of one staff man, Jimin felt the rush of adrenaline pumping through his veins as he leaned his back against Jungkook's while the other male relaxed and focused his mind into the character he had studied. "Jimin, Lean your head back on Jungkook's shoulder and look up." Yoongi spoke through the white megaphone he was handed as he sat in a chair with his boy observing with stars in his eyes while sitting on top of his father's lap. The writer obeyed and leaned his head back on the younger's shoulder feeling the cold black leather against his hair and neck, it gave him another shiver down his spine. "Now, Jungkook look in that direction." The director pointed to his far left and the actor followed his instructions without batting an eye.

The cameraman did an 'ok' sign with his left hand and looked at the pair through the camera's lense. "Camera ready." He said loud enough for the two posing males, the staff and director to hear. "Lightning ready!" Another staff that held light modifiers near the two main males shouted. "Begin." Yoongi leaned his chin on top of Beomgyu's brown locks after speaking through the megaphone and watched his coworkers begin their job.

As his heart was on the verge of jumping out of his chest, Jimin kept his gaze on the clouds in the sky hoping Jungkook wouldn't feel how much inexperience he had with photoshoots and acting. He was nervous as hell. Although the raven-haired actor was a still mad at the writer, when he felt a rush of continuous thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump against his back, he couldn't hold back laughing. His lips parted and his eyes wrinkled when he sniggered in the middle of the shooting. Shit! He cursed because he interrupted had interrupted the cameraman's work but instead, he was praised.

Click! Click! Click!

"I like it! Don't exaggerate it." The cameraman ordered as he kept taking the pictures. "Jimin-ssi, you're a little stiff. Relax your shoulders and arms a bit."

Oh boy, did he fuck up.

Jungkook's laughing abruptly stopped when he heard what the cameraman had said. "Call him Jimin-ssi one more time. I fucking dare you." The raven-haired actor possessively said in a low tone that only the people really closer to them could hear, Jimin, the cameraman and the staff with the light modifiers. It was very warning, which made the cameraman stop taking the pictures and immediately bow his head in submission apologizing. That's how dominant the tone in Jungkook's voice was.

Completely taken aback by the sudden tone in Jungkook's voice, the writer's arms protectively wrapped around himself and he whispered at the actor with a stutter. "C-Calm down Jungkook-ah. He's just trying to do his job." And it helped the actor calm down. The writer's voice soothed him and helped diminish the erupted dominance that crawled to the surface. "Only I get to call you Jimin-ssi."

"Y-Yes Jungkook." Just like the previous night, the tone in the writer's voice was low and submissive. He didn't like it this time how his body reacted like that, but he didn't want to cause a scene on the first day of shooting so he remained silent.

"Everything alright?" Yoongi's voice through the megaphone made them nod their heads and proceed with the shooting.

"Mr. Jeon, would you smile again?" The cameraman said in full formal, scared to anger the actor. "Yes." Indifferently from before, Jungkook smiled again and the shooting proceeded successfully.

Day 1 of shooting 'Just A Film' was a success despite Jungkook's sudden outburst that a black haired Taehyung had watched from afar with a disappointed and stern expression. He knew from the moment he set eyes on them that his best friend had fallen for the trap named Jeon Jungkook.

"I'm going to kill him if he ends up hurting Jimin."
