Peace Conference I

'I don't think this punishment will be the enjoyable kind . . .' Was Barakiel's last clear thought.

Back to Jun's side of things, despite not being shaken like the three individuals he left behind, he was still feeling quite frustrated.

'I need an idiot to vent this frustration on . . .' Jun began cycling through characters he knew to see if a worthy punching bag could be found amongst them.

And just as he was thinking about this, a message that carried with it the flow of fate arrived to supply him and his girls with punching bags for their amusement.

The three faction were setting up their peace conference but two other factions were actually invited as well, an ultra conference that was supposed to cement ties and strong alliances between three whole mythologies.

It was a smart move as the Khaos Brigade was gathering up all of their enemies but the surprising things was that they all wanted the location for the final talks and gathering to be at a neutral location and expressed a sincere request for Jun himself to be their neutral host.

Truth be told, it was nonsense. Jun was close to the fallen angels and technically still at war with the devils, one could hardly refer to him as neutral but that conference was sure to draw chaos and chaos meant fun in Jun's book.

And so, without a care in the world, he commanded Asako to give a positive official response in his name while messaging his girls that there was fun to be had in DxD for those that were interested. Opponents of several levels would possibly show up so everyone had a chance to shine.

Naturally, this message sparked a whole lot of interest in the more combative of his girls and even the more peaceful ones were wondering if they could use this as a chance to show off for their beloved and maybe sneak their way into the wife faction that had no new entries for quite a while now.

Like so, it was decided they would have an internal meeting to decide how to proceed in regards to their role as hosts with them accepting the role as a preconception since Jun had already made that call himself before he even messaged them, as was his right as their unchallenged leader.

A while later, the entirety of Jun's group was gathered in Domina Coronam for a discussion, even the ones in the Nasuverse were called back just to see if they wanted in o the fun.

"I think we should mention this to our new ally. We are planning on locking down Japan as our territory with them no? might as well use this even to make it official." Cleria, evere the diplomatic woman, made a suggestion.

"That is fine, letting our new "ally" witness the power of our forces up close will solidify who holds the position of strength in our relations." Morgan agreed but with different reasons.

Penthesilea nodded in agreement while Scathach, as always, preferred to leave the politics to others even though she had been a proficient ruler in her own right, once upon a time.

"Alright then, we shall do so." Jun made the final decision as always.

"Since I took the liberty of accepting to host the negotiation and the last i micromanaged what should be done while giving morgan guidelines to follow which she graciously kept to, this time around I've decided to let you all make a collective decision on how to handle our role as hosts." He declared.

"What do you mean by that Jun . . . sama?" Mordred asked, excited to make important leadership decisions and only adding sama to her address of Jun because a glare emitted from her mother.

"Simple stuff like . . . Should we use our position to make things hard on certain parties we don't like?" Jun gave one example.

"You using our official position to settle personal grudges and just mess with people that annoy you instead of keeping our neutrality as our duty demands." Jeanne, who as a former Ruler class was the pinnacle of fair arbitration, judged Jun with her gaze even if she would not complain if that was his ultimate decision.

"It was just a suggestion." Jun "innocently" responded.

"Besides, our neutraily is a sham and everyone involved knows this. The conference and the request for us to host it is a calculated move but since it suits my current plans, I've decided to play along." He added in explanation.

"So they are trying to trick us?" Illya who was amongst the Nasuverse returned party and as such still didn't know the situation very well asked.

"Not really. As a scheme, it is really over. It is more like a question as to what our intentions are but done in a more tactful way." Jun explained.

"So basically, it is rulerspeak for "Do we share a common foe or not?", nothing else." Atalanta explained further. As always she was ready to make things as easy as she had to for children, even though Illya had grown quite a bit . . . Mentally at least.

"Since we've setting ourselves up to antagonise the Khaos Brigade for the time being, the current answer to that veiled question is yes, hence my acceptance of the role." Jun added.

"For the time being? So you scheming to change sides at some point?" Semiramis inquired with an interested tone, she could always appreciate a good political game. In fact, she might be the most adept at politics amongst the entirety of Jun's group.
