Chapter 78: Ballroom Blitz, Part 1

London, September 7, 1940

Determined to enjoy some time with her old friend, Stephanie, Katya encouraged Cyrus to stay with her in London's dangerous past.

"How long will the war with Germany last this time around?" asked Stephanie.

"About five years," answered Katya. "Next year, the Americans will join the war effort."

Cyrus looked at Katya. "Should we be telling her this much about her future?"

"It's all right," Katya said. "I've told her tons already."

"So then, tell me this," added Stephanie. "Who wins this ruddy war?"

"The good guys, of course," Katya replied with a smile.

"What would you like to do today?" Stephanie asked. "One of the cinemas is still showing 21 Days with Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier. I think they show that one in the States as well."

"Anything you want to do is fine with us," Katya said. She then looked at Cyrus. "Right honey?"

Cyrus shrugged and nodded.
