Other World 26

Third Person's POV

As night fell, the young lad found himself standing at the edge of the forest, the wind howling through the trees. The villagers had warned him not to venture out after dark, but he knew that if he was going to face the creature, he needed to understand it. He needed to see it for himself.

The forest was dense and dark, the trees towering above him like ancient sentinels. The path was narrow and winding, the snow crunching under his boots with each step. The air was thick with the scent of pine and earth, and the only sound was the wind rustling through the branches.

The young lad walked for what felt like hours, the darkness pressing in around him, when he heard it—a low, guttural growl that sent a shiver down his spine. He stopped, his hand instinctively reaching for the hilt of his sword.
