Third Person's POV
The innkeeper showed them to a small dining area where a few other travelers were already seated, enjoying their meals. The room was warm, with a fire crackling in the hearth and the smell of hearty stew filling the air. The young lad and Alex took a seat at a table near the window, where they could look out at the village square.
As they waited for their meal, Alex leaned back in his chair, looking more relaxed than the young lad had seen him in a while. "It's good to be out in the world again, isn't it?" Alex said, his voice thoughtful. "I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it."
The young lad smiled, nodding in agreement. "It is. There's something about being out here, away from everything… It feels more real somehow."
