Going to Auvraneian Kingdom 4

Rai's POV

*Whistle, whistle, whistle*

"What are you?" The Young Duke went silent when an enormous ancient sea animal emerged from the water.

"What the hell is that?" The Crown Prince uttered in surprise.

"Woah..." The secretary shivers with amazement, and Killian is startled at even speaking now.

"*Smiles widely* This is Khasis. He will be our guide on the way to the Auvraneian Kingdom." Khasis greeted us by lowering his head.

"But how do we ride this- I mean, him?" Everyone looked in my direction with a deep gaze.

"Don't worry about it; Khasis shell is designed to provide shelter for people when they travel deep into the sea." Stairs suddenly appeared, leading a path towards its shell.

"Thank you." Khasis roared in excitement as I walked my way up the stairs and the others followed me.

As we moved slowly upward, a gate appeared before us. Within the shell, everything was sparkling. The chairs, tables, and other pieces of furniture were all made of gold and crystal. There were also windows. The ancient sea animal dove deep underwater.

"This place is worth over 100,000 pieces of gold coins." Kelvhan, the Crown prince's secretary, was in awe as he wandered his eyes.

(100 copper coins = 1 silver coin)

(100 silver coins = 1 gold coin)

One golden coin is worth one million Rai on this continent.

"Wait." Everyone stopped in their tracks and looked in my direction. I just smiled and sat down on a fancy chair.

"Rai is the continent's currency, and the lord's name is also Rai. That means-," Kelvhan mumbled while looking at me. I just smiled, and they all gasped in surprise.

"My Lord, did you -,"

"It was the first ruler who named it." I just said while looking around.

"I didn't even understand why he named it after me. Maybe he knew something or saw something about my future." I continued. Everyone was silent, and it seemed like they were listening to what I said.

"Maybe... The first lord – I mean, God—cares for you...?" Killian silently said.

"*Chuckle* He doesn't have time for that. And even if he had, he would probably spend his time with his favourite person."

"Person?" Everyone was confused right now.

"Uhuh...I mean, he called everybody his children, but he has a special connection with this person who everybody was jealous of. Even the legendary beasts were jealous of that guy as well."

"I've read so many books about our continent, but it seems like there are more hidden stories that we didn't even know" Young Duke.

"So am I." the Crown Prince, Killian, and Kelvhan said.

"The writer wrote it differently from the original scenario." I said while trying to remember what was written on the book.

"I see." After a moment of silence, the four got together to discuss something important. When they had finished discussing, Lucas walked toward me.

"My lord." Crown Prince.

"It takes a week to reach the kingdom of Auvraneian, and it could take another day to enter the kingdom because an intruder caused a disturbance inside. At this very moment, they're tracking this intruder." I said.

"How do you-," Crown Prince.

"You know I can hear everything you said without even looking. And you can continue doing your paperwork in here."

"Thank you, my lord." Kelvhan pulled out hundreds of papers from his magic bag and put them on the table. I took a rest inside the room and did not bother them.

*Knock, knock*

"My lord?"

*Knock, knock*

"*Groans* What is it?" I got up from the bed and opened the door. I saw Killian bringing a tray of food.

"I apologize for waking you up, my lord." Killian.

"It's fine." I opened the door for him to enter. He placed it beside the bed.

"Please call us if you need anything, my lord."

"Sure." I said.

"Then, please rest well, my lord." He closed the door, leaving me inside. I sat on the bed and started eating the food. After I finished eating, I called Callis.

"Callis."

"You called, my lord?" He is kneeling on one knee while his right hand is on his left shoulder.

"Report."

"The Auvraneian right now is still a mess. Hundreds of sea creatures suffered from the huge explosion." Callis reported. I lied to them, it will only take a day for us to travel towards the Auvraneian, since the dark continent started making a move, and looks like someone who is powerful enough is helping them.

"How long will it take to renovate the entire kingdom?" I aksed.

"It might take 1–2 days to build everything back." I massaged my temple while thinking of a new plan.

"Tell them to tighten the barrier and protect the crystal pearl with everything they have."

"As you wish." I read the note that Callis gave me.

"*Groans* There's nothing I can do about these. If he didn't give me limitations, I could help humans and other creatures right now."

"Don't push yourself, my lord. The first ruler did it because he cares for you." Callis.

"If he cares for the whole continent, he shouldn't restrict me from helping them." Callis couldn't say a word and remained silent.

"Maybe he did this to me to let the humans and other creatures survive on their own." I continued clearing all the negative thoughts that were on my mind.

"Don't worry, my lord. He must have a reason to keep you safe." Callis tried to convince me again, but I just shrugged it off and told him my plan.

I went to check whether everything was well after spending endless hours conversing with Callis. Killian's head was resting on Kelvhan's right shoulder, while the crown prince's head was leaning against his left shoulder. And the young duke's head was resting on the crown prince's right shoulder. Papers were strewn all over the place.... I could see that they were all exhausted, and I quietly decided to compile the papers.

I used magic to pick up the documents and pile them up. I looked outside the window and saw a fish, big and small. There were also ancient sea creatures playing and enjoying themselves.

*Groans, * I looked back and the Young Duke was already awake.

"Good morning." I greeted him, even though I didn't know if it was morning.

"Good morning, my lord."
