Preparation

Rai's POV

"Huh?"

"Eh?"

"Yes?"

"Pardon?" They were perplexed. I snapped my finger and thousands of boxes appeared.

"I'm here to deliver the healing potion." I calmly said, as they were completely shocked.

"..."

"Aren't you going to say anything?" I waved my hand as they regained consciousness.

"*Clear throats* I apologize. And on the king's behalf, I would like to thank you, my lord." the count said as they kneeled again.

"It's fine, since I can't fully help you defeat the Dark Continent. I mean Disas continent."

"May I ask why?" Vernie said.

"Since I'm a descendant of a god, I can't interfere with your fate." I calmly said, stretching my arms through the air.

"This potion is more than enough. Thank you for helping us, my lord," Killian said, and he lowered his head as a sign of respect.

"Would you like some tea, my lord?" the butler, Wither, asked.

"That would be great," I said, looking around. The count's mansion is a nice place to stay. I feel refreshed here.

"Then I will prepare it right away." He lowered his head before silently leaving.

"My lord, I shall guide you to a room," the count said as we walked towards the big door.

"How is it, my lord?" Killian asked as I sipped the tea.

"It tastes great," I said, looking at the sky.

The count and his secretary went to the warehouse, where they stored their goods in case of emergencies. I saw a flock of birds flying across the sky.

'Knock, knock, knock.'

"Come in," Killian said.

Vernie, the secretary, stepped in front of us as the door opened. His right hand was on his left shoulder as he bowed his head.

"Young master, it is time to go." He spoke.

Killian got up, bowed his head, left me alone, and took a sip in silence. Many hours later, I could hear the distant sound of the drums.

"It's starting," I said.

"It seems so, my lord." I flinched when I heard a voice. I turned around and saw him smiling.

"Why are you here?" I asked. He placed all the desserts on the table while smiling.

"The master told me to stay, my lord." He spoke.

I ignored him as I resumed drinking my tea. I took some sweets and ate them.

"Aren't you worried?" I asked.

Without responding to my query, he kept pouring tea into my cup. The sky grew deeper and darker as I glanced up at it. The god of war appears to be enjoying the current battle. Shall I go see him? I haven't seen him in a very long time.

I got up from where I was sitting and walked outside.

"My lord?" Wither asked.

I breathed in deeply and closed my eyes to clear all the bad thoughts in my mind.

"I should probably pay him a visit," I spoke.

"Where are you going, my lord?"

"To meet someone. *Stops* I'm just greeting an old friend," I said, and I was instantly transported to his residence. The location changed as I opened my eyes. There was rubbish and dust all over the area. Eventually, I walked more than a mile.

'Kahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!'

I sighed when I saw him maniacally laughing while watching the war.

'Kahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

"It seems like you're having fun," I said while crossing my arms. At last, he stopped laughing and gave me a look. The moment he spotted me, he froze. He got up and started to move toward me. With his right hand on his left shoulder, he kneeled on one knee.

"I greet the descendant." he said,

"It's been a while," I said.

"Yes, I am pleased to meet you again, my lord." He happily said.

"Rise."

"Yes." He rose from his knees and took me to the cleanest room.

"What brings you here, my lord?" he asked as he poured the wine into my glass.

"Why? You don't want me to visit you?" I asked. He is the god of battle, Aizel Wynn. He was formerly a human, but after vanquishing one of the most formidable generals of the Dark continent, he became known as the god of war.

"No, I'm grateful to see you visiting me, my lord." He said while smiling ear to ear.

"Heh." I continue drinking the wine as we talk about some serious matters.

Hours passed, and our discussion ended. I stood up from my seat and walked towards the door.

"Let me see you off, my lord." He spoke.

"Thanks." I casually said. I stopped in my tracks and looked at him.

"I will not say goodbye, since this isn't the last that we will meet." I said and he lowered his head and placed his right hand on his left shoulder.

"I pray for your safety, my lord." He spoke.

"Then, until we meet again." I smiled at him before teleporting to the Count's mansion.

"Welcome back, my lord." Wither greeted me.

"How many days was it?" I asked.

"It's been three days, my lord, since you left to meet someone." He spoke.

I expected it to be long since I went to god's place.

"How was it?" I asked.

"The Dark continent continued to attack us without resting." He spoke.

"It seems like they are going full force." I said and sipped my tea.

"Yes, it seems so." I put my teacup down and looked outside.

"Tell the count to attack with full force." I spoke.

"As you wish." He said and went out. I took the teacup again and took a sip.

"Too bad I can't see the full fight." I said and smiled. I stood up from my seat and took a crystal in my magic bag. I used the bell to call Wither.

'Knock, knock, knock.'

"Come in."

"You called, my lord?" He said, and I gave the crystal to him.

"Give this to the Count. This crystal can help them." I said and he took it with no hesitation.

"Then I will take my leave." He said as he lowered his head and placed his right hand on his left shoulder before he left.

"It's getting more interesting."
