I Owe You Big Time

Penelope's second day of work was less eventful than her first. She shadowed Dylan as he worked on his projects and he explained the programs she wasn't familiar with as he went. Most of them she was at least passingly familiar with because of her college courses but there were a couple that were new. 

Colton tried flirting with her at lunch, much to Kelly's annoyance, and she did her best to ignore it. At least it stopped when Harry sat down at their table and began chatting with Dylan about something work-related. 

She noticed Kelly eyeing Harry nearly as much as she had been eyeing Colton and wondered if the woman realized that she was biting off more than she could chew. Crushing on your boss was never a good idea. 

Wanting to stay out of the drama, Penelope looked toward Jamie and Alan. They seemed to be playing a game against each other on their phones in between bites of their lunches. 

"What are you guys playing?" she asked curiously.
