I Would Love To See You Try

The two friends exchanged a glance. 

"I think you scared her off," Roman said. "I would be freaked out too if my boss had seen all of that."

Harry brushed him off. "Nonsense! She was totally trying to talk to me but her brother kidnapped her."

That wasn't what it looked like to him. It was more like she said something to her brother to get her out of there and he complied. She looked like she had seen a ghost when she noticed who had called out to her. 

Harry wasn't the least bit intimidating since he was such a goofball but Roman supposed he might be different in the office. At the very least, no one he knew wanted to look stupid in front of their employer. 

People at the hospital always stiffened when they saw him coming and stopped gossiping or laughing instantly. They all wanted to look good in front of the boss. 

"Stupid," Roman chided. "It's her day off and you made her feel bad by harassing her."
