Matal Mogamett

While in the stands, Demolus noticed that everyone was focused on the battle, and didn't even notice him. Well, most of the students were too absorbed in the battle that was taking place to notice him, but some of the teachers looked at him and started whispering to each other.

Demolus looked at the arena with two boys having their magic battle, and was a bit disappointed. Just feeling how their magic worked, it was clear that the magic of this world was incompatible with him. He used magic in a different way than they did, not to mention the mages of this world used Magoi, which was a bit different from mana, meaning that Demolus would have to do some research before he could jump in and try the magic here.

Not to mention the magic spells and mana control he learned from the books he got from the random boxes were better. He could clearly see how they wasted power while casting spells even if it was minimal it was still a waste. And Demolus didn't think of himself as someone who was amazing as a mage, he didn't have a teacher nor did he want one.

He looked at the teachers who were sitting on the other side of the arena and saw an average-sized old man with long white hair and purple eyes. He has wrinkles, liver spots, a large mustache that is braided, and a large beard. He wears a large black wizard hat with a metal ring at the base, and a black robe.

Demolus could recognize the said person, as Matal Mogamett the Chancellor of the Magnostadt Academy and the leader of Magnostadt. He saw his portraits here and there, not to mention that he remembered the guy from the anime he watched, which was a long time ago.

Mogamett is very loving to the students of his academy and cares for them deeply, but he is quick to rage. While he is wise and benevolent to his fellow magicians and students, Mogamett has a darker side - he considers non-magicians (Goi)to be nothing more than animals, less than human, and inferior to magicians due to his past. His views on Goi are not unwarranted, however, as he states the Goi seek power whereas magicians seek knowledge, and thus treats the Goi in the 5th Level like livestock, and even kick crying Goi children for touching his robes, coldly telling them to go away.

But there was a reason why he disliked non-magicians and treated them like livestock, and nothing more. It was because of how he lived his life, before creating a place for magicians like himself. While in the beginning, the man thought that mages were there to help people, magical and otherwise. But after experiencing how magicians were treated, and how the non-magical aristocrats of the country he was part of were living changed his mind.

Demolus didn't dislike him, he understood that the man only wanted good for his people. But right now he was looking at Demolus as if trying to figure out who he was, and what he was doing here. But to the old man's surprise Demolus started walking towards him, while avoiding the students.

It didn't take long for Demolsu to reach the old man, he ignored the rest of the teachers, and sat down next to the man. "You have some pretty talented students, by the way, my name is Demolus." He spoke while stretching his legs a bit.

"Indeed, my name is Matal Mogamett, and what might you be doing here? not to mention that you are here without permission. And what are you? Clearly, you are more than meets the eye." The bearded man spoke.

"Hmmm, let's just say I'm a creature that's a bit more magical than magicians. But how about we talk later? Let's watch your students finish their battle first." Demolus spoke while sitting on the chair in a relaxed manner.

Demolus turned his head to see the teachers behind him looking at him with different expressions. The female teachers had stern expressions but he could clearly see them blushing, it was an amusing sight. The male teachers were looking at him with interest, and confusion.

Matal was focusing on the fight of the two students, but he would glance at Demolus from time to time. He knew that the red-haired man wasn't normal, he as a long-lived magician could tell the difference between magical and non-magical people easily. And the man sitting next to him, was an unknown being he couldn't tell, he might have thought of him as a Magi, but he knew that wasn't the case. He could tell that the energy that surrounded the man was different from any other he had seen, therefore when he heard that they could talk after the battle of his students he nodded, in agreement.

Demolus looked at the teachers, before returning his attention to the battle that was taking place. The Blue-haired boy was losing, but then his staff started making some sort of noise, while green color magic pulsated from it.

"Sound magic huh? He's using sound magic to make his staff vibrate at great speed. Not bad, not bad at all." Demolus commented on seeing Aladdin use sound magic, but he was wondering if there was a better way to use the same magic but in a different way.

"Indeed, and he's moving well. Meiers, did you teach him the basics of martial arts?" The old man agreed while turning his head to look at the female teacher behind him and Demolus.

"Yes, my students…aren't overly reliant on magic. Nor do they cling arrogantly to their staffs. Unlike those spineless cowards!" The woman spoke while looking at Aladdin with some pride in her eyes.

But the moment she finished her sentence the two boys stopped fighting, Demlus managed to notice that they both ripped each other's sleeves with their staffs. Before jumping back from each other. But Domolus could clearly see two red gems embedded in the forearm of the two boys. He noticed that Matal was weirdly quiet.
