Bk 3: Ch– 220 Taking sides(pt-1)

Eugene got up from the chair and walked to where Rosa was sitting. He took the paper and started to read what she pointed out. “I was part of the investigation here. There was nothing left, only a dead village.”

Rosa rubbed her eyes. “I have to disagree, brother Eugene.”

She said as the heads turned to her. "Oh, it was a ghost mission; you can ask Sir Eisen; he was there with us. An old man and his adopted son were there.”

Rosa explained that she was hiding her face from others.

“There is more to your words, my queen. Please finish the story.” Darce intervened in the middle.

Rosa chuckled, “You know me so well, your Highness.”

Rosa then proceeded to finish the story of the Ghost Forest, and it only made people sigh instead of getting shocked by the knowledge. For them, Rosaline is expected to be on a mission like this.

“Were there any signs of toxic poisoning of the boy he used as a creature?” Conner asked as he was rubbing his forehead.
