Chapter - 38 Departure Part -1

The farewells felt like it took the whole night. For some it went all night saying goodbye to the comrades while goodbye drinks flew between each other. Tom and others cheered for the transfer trainees for their achievement in the canteen. Everyone cheered for each other wishing luck and dreaming about the future. For the youngest in their group Rosa it was different even though she was not part of the transfer she was leaving to escort the cadets.

It was an overwhelming feeling and strange for her instead of joining everyone in the canteen she sat in front of Kuon’s tent with Felix on her lap. They starred at the stars on the sky exchanging small words. She could not believe that out of everything and everyone this is what she will miss the most.

‘What am I thinking? It is just two weeks.’ She mentally slapped herself.

“Why do stars twinkle?” Felix starred at her with his big eyes and pouty face.
