Bad News

Alexis was bored out of her mind having nothing to do in that isolation. She tried watching some movie that was being broadcast on one of the channels but her mind was not in the right state to be watching some movie when her own life was becoming more bizarre than the plots of movies.

After spending a whole hour in silence, the nurse finally returned to her room. She was bringing Alexis's cell phone to her.

Alexis had never felt this happy to see someone walking towards her with a cell phone in their hand. 

"I am sorry that it took this long. The phone was covered in blood so it took quite some time to properly clean it up." Mary apologized while handing over the phone back to Alexis.

Alexis happily took her cell phone and thanked the nurse, "I am the one who should be saying sorry. And thank you so much for sanitizing this." Alexis then cautiously asked, "I can make phone calls from in here, right?"
