Why Do You Keep Trying To Save What Is Dead?

Mabli watched Madam Lily walk towards her with such a bright smile on her face. It made Mabli wonder what she had done to please the diviner in such a way that Lily seemed so happy with her. However, she knew that she could not trust the diviner and she was confused as to why she would feel that way.

"Did you have a restful sleep?" Lily malum asked. "I hope you do not feel sore from the long journey. If you do, I have something for that. It would make you feel brand new," she finished with a small wink.

"Yes, I did. And I'm having a good morning too. Thank you for the offer, Madam Lily," Mabli replied to her as she stood up from where she had been sitting down waiting for her.
