First Time Facing The Prince

Veni nodded as he agreed with the Commander that they should prepare for the prince's arrival. While the preparation was going on, Veni couldn't help but think about the princess and where she might be at that moment. He wondered if he should leave the camp and ride to her cottage that was just on the outskirts of the kingdom or if he should wait for the prince's address. if Veni wanted to be honest with himself, he would choose to see the princess right at that moment. For some reason, he felt that he was not meant to be there but by the princess's side, planning what to do next. Did she even know that he had arrived with the troops? Veni could bet that the prince had not sent word to the princess letting her know that the soldiers had arrived. Left to him, he would have stopped at her place first even before coming into the kingdom.
