I walk Nola home after her sessions. This is the only time I spend with her aside from the bathroom trips. It's a way to show her that we have to go our separate ways, but I won't disappear from her life. Though I don't know if she understands this. Another reason is in the hopes that she can confess her feelings... so I can reject her. I feel so bad, I don't want to break her heart, but I really don't like her like that. I really see her as a sibling more than anything. But according to Heather and the doctor, she's starting to open up, so I better be prepared.
I dropped off Nola at my apartment and entered hers due to our previous arrangement. Her mother is not home. Good. Maybe I can have some peace and quiet for a change. I got to my room and decided to just play something on my computer when I got a call. It was from Dr. Rarity.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Elon, how is Nola doing?"
"She's doing okay. Still depressed however."
"Have you noticed Bashaface around her?"
"What do you mean?"
"At school. Have you noticed if Rudy has been anywhere near her?"
"I don't know. Nola and I no longer hang out."
"You got to keep on eye on both of them. Rudy is extremely desperate to discover about your bathroom trips. You got to make sure he never finds out and remind him to visit me often to check on him."
She sounds so serious and even frightened. I've never heard her voice so concerned. "What is going on? What did he tell you?"
"I can't actually tell you. Patient confidentiality. All you need to know is that he might be desperate in trying to find Nola."
"Are you kidding? Is he really that desperate?"
"Very much. I fear he might do something to her in order to get some answers. Elon, keep her away from him at all costs."
"Yeah, sure."
"Warn her right now so you can give her a heads up."
"I'll do that right now. Thanks for informing me."
"Okay. I'll see you next time," and she hangs up.
Man, is he serious? He really wants to know that badly? Why? And the doctor can't tell me due to patient confidentiality. In either case, I better call Nola and even Heather. She can help me keep an eye on him.
I call Nola first.
"ELON! I MISS YOU! PLEASE COME OVER-"
"No, Nola. I'm not here to talk."
"Please, Elon. I want to come over and play."
"You know you can't until you start getting better. But listen to me-"
"Please, Elon. Wearing your underwear is not enough."
"My what?"
"Uhh... I meant... nothing. You took everything. You didn't left a pair that I play with or wear it like a mask, honest."
"Nola, listen. I got to warn you. Someone is looking for you. Some guy named Rudy. You know him?"
"No. I don't know anyone."
"Well he's a tall guy with blonde, spiky hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. He's the star of the basketball team, and he's looking for you."
"Why would anyone want to look for me? Even my classmates want to distance themselves from me... or I assume. I just scoot over to the far corner just in case."
"Look, if you see a tall person approach you and starts asking you questions, just run away, okay? Don't deal with this guy. He's a bad man."
"He's a bad man?"
"Yes. He's a bad man and he might hurt you."
"No, Elon, protect me!"
"Don't worry. Just be sure that he doesn't approach you, okay?"
"Elon, I'm scared."
"Try to sit in open spaces where you can just run away easily. Shout for help if you need to."
"MMMmmmm... Elon I'm scared. Cuddle with me."
"No, Nola. I can't. But I will tell Heather. She'll comfort you."
"No, I don't want cuddles and butt pats from her."
"I'll contact her right now. Just stay safe." and I hang up.
Oh man, she sounded so scared. She's never had anyone approach her, so I hope I didn't scare her too much. I better call Heather right now.
== The next day, Rudy POV ==
[Picture ->]
Where is she? Where is that girl, Nola? Dammit, come out already.
No! What are you doing, Rudy? You heard the doctor, right? She said this was going to hurt you.
What does she know? She's just judging us. She doesn't know what we went through all these years!
But this has to do with piss. She said it herself, this is some weird fascination from Sharky. We still haven't gotten over it.
Sharky was just some weirdo chick who peed on us. I've already gotten over her!
No you haven't. You still like her, and you want to use Nola to-
NO! I don't care about that dork, I just want answers and I will never speak to her again. I find her hideous.
You're right. She's just a weirdo, right? Our first impression of her was disgust. Of course we don't want her.
GLUG! UGH! What's with this flegm clogging up my throat? Whatever! Let's just find that dork!
I checked the other entrance when school started and I didn't see her come in. There are only two entrances, where is she coming from if Elon doesn't drop her off. She's nowhere to be found in recess or lunch. She must have gone inside a classroom or something during this time. Maybe the psychiatrist? I stood on both staircases and she never appeared, so she doesn't go there during recess or lunch. After school, again, I can't find her. But there's so many students walking out that she is probably hiding within the crowd.
But does she even come to this school? I did see her with Heather and Elon at that game, but that was after classes. But she stepped into the psychiatrist office that one time. She has to come here, so where is she? I can't find her anywhere, Elon doesn't drive her to or from school, and I don't know if they even live together. It's time we take it outside the school. I'll just follow Elon home one day and... and...
...
...
...
What am I doing? Am I stalking her now?
Who am I kidding, of course I have a problem. That doctor was right. Sharky is responsible for this. She did this to me... but... damn, why did she had to die? When I find out who that drunk driver was... ugh... he's already in prison. I can't even avenge her!
Here I am, sitting in the parking lot of the school, thinking about stalking Nola. Whose the weirdo now? I can't believe I even thought of that. I don't even like her. I don't even know her. Whatever. I'm going home.
I was heading to my car when I saw Heather coming out with one of her friends. Ah, it's that Alice girl. That little kid wants to date me. No way. I hide on the side and watch to make sure they just drive off.
Say... doesn't Alice have golden blonde hair? Doesn't she have it long too? And her clothes. I may not know a thing about fashion but wasn't it that lolita crap that she wore? Why is she wearing a soccer jersey with the word... Nola!?
No freaking way! So Heather was hiding her? Maybe? Well, she just entered her car and they are driving off. Whoa, I better follow them.
No, what am I doing again? Stop it, Rudy. This is disgusting. You have a problem.
Yeah, I agree with me. You have problem.
Okay, stop it you two. Rudy is right, we got to calm down. Jeez. I can't believe this. I really do have a problem. So, I got to see the doctor now? Damn, why me? Why did this happen to me?
No. I got to stop this. Let's just go home. But I'm already at the park and there they are. Might as well.
Yeah, I'm already here, I might as well.
I agree. You already followed them. you might as well go through with it.
Yeah, I agree.
Who are you? Ah, forget it. I don't care. Just don't make a mess, okay?
I'm no closer than a few yards but yeah, that's her and Heather , playing soccer She's pretty terrible at it. Ugh, she looks awful in that uniform. Look at her legs and arms. she has no meat in her bones. She so flat too, what man wants to touch that? She doesn't curve or bend either, she angles. What a terrible body!
This was a mistake. I shouldn't have come here. Forget this, I don't want to know anymore. I'm convinced. I walk out of here, return to my car, and drive home. Yeah, just go home, forget about this. Forget about everything. This was a mistake, a decade long mistake. I just need to see the doctor, that's all. She's the only real answer to all this.
I'm fine now. There's no need to seek answers now.
...
...
...
Really, I'm fine. I'm fine now. I'm over it. I just can't... envision Nola...
Well... actually... Sharky and Nola... are still in my... yeah, we need to speak to the doctor. Yeah... Just drive home. Just drive home.

Dammit, Sharky, why did you leave me all alone?
