Biased Elders

Channing, Mr Brayden and Zelda walked back to the main elders' assembly room. The logkeeper at the door, Paul, got up from his seat, "Alpha Channing, I see you have brought a prisoner here. That too without any prior notice." 

It was Paul's duty to make sure the elders were safe and Channing had been bold for the first time in his duty period. Even the prison supervisor was not allowed in the building unless important. But right now it looked to Paul as if the Alpha was exploiting the privileges given to him. Channing though stared at him with a dangerous aura, "I am sure you know the elders are planning to wedge a war with Waterwoods soon. This is related to that. Bring the register." 

Paul creased his brows. He instead extended his hand ahead at the drowsy and uncontrollably drooling Zelda who was held up by the prison supervisor.
