The act of Ruibo trying to stand back again after Azrail placed him down, giving such a light punishment for his actions, was a slap to Azrail's face. Not many would object if Azrail took any drastic actions, thus, Huifen flinched, the fear of taking his wrong side being heavily present all around.

"If you didn't care for him, I might have done more."

Azrail replied, looking at Huifen, who blushed lightly at the words. Though her concerned gaze kept traveling towards the knocked-out Ruibo.

"Go help him, we can see ourselves out for the moment."

Azrail's words made Huifen flinch. She looked between Azrail and Ruibo, hesitation passing through her eyes as she finally spoke with a shake of her head.

"You asked me to lead you, Lord Azrail, and it's my responsibility to make sure you are well-kept within the palace."
