Crazy lady

Trying to hold on to the last thread of hope she had left, Titan stood up again and began to climb. This time, she was more determined than ever but the woman seated on the floor didn't feel bothered by this act of Titan's at all because she knew that it would still end the same way. Who would know this better than her?

Titan kept climbing but her heart was hammering and she couldn't even imagine what would happen to her if she fell again.

Suddenly, she missed her step and almost fell but didn't. Her heart was already in her mouth and she had already imagined her skull cracking.

"Careful up there. You wouldn't want to die before you even see the light. Would you?" the woman yelled when she saw Titan about to fall but anyone would sense that her words contained sarcasm in them.

Titan looked up and realized that with a few more steps, she would get to those treads and she already had a plan to burn those treads with her flame.
