The Case Grows

When they went to the interview room and Michael was fixing to enter along with Marlina the agent stopped him and told him, "Sorry son but only me and her are allowed in for this interview."

"But he's my emotional support!" Marlina plead with him, "Why can't he come in?! I'll make sure he stays quiet!"

"The best I can do is let him stand at the window." Agent Malone told her, "We don't allow others in the room while doing interviews because they can influence your testimony."

"But that is why I want to go in with her!" Michael objected, "Because my grandfather has at least ONE of you agents in his pocket and I want to make sure you're not ALSO in his pocket!"

"Son! I take this job VERY serious!" Agent Malone asserted, "And I am not fixing to let ANYBODY'S money buy me!"
