Reinstatement of the Original Agreed Amount

"Detective Arturo, let us find a separate schedule to discuss this matter more. There is something more crucial that I need to attend to first," Mr. Denver had a sharp intake of air and exhaled loudly. "I will compensate you in full for your work today."

"That is--- Ahh, before I leave, allow me to ask one personal question, Mr. Denver?" Detective Arturo suddenly spoke. His seat has not yet even warmed but he was already dismissed!

"I don't think I have enough time. Just ask that question the next time we meet," Mr. Denver unexpectedly refused. He then gave a signal to his butler to escort the investigator.

The butler nodded his head and then faced Detective Arturo. "Sir, this way please."

"Then, I'll take my leave." The investigator glanced at the scenery outside the veranda for a split second and stood from his seat. He calmly obliged and followed the butler without any complaints.
