City of Angels

Traveling towards the north for the next few years, I tried my best to complete my recovery. With Lilith putting my actual strength into focus, I figured we needed a little bit more time to kill Marquess Yor'fenli. We needed to recover fully, and I was only at most sixty percent, while on other days, I was fifty percent.

Healing was challenging, especially since I wasn't using my excess qi to heal but rather grow my cultivation.

I needed to make sacrifices, and that was one of them. My injuries would heal naturally, but my cultivation needed help, making this hunt fun.

Since I came to the cultivation world, hunting has felt relatively simple, but now it isn't. Marquess Yor'fenli wasn't one I could take likely, especially with blessings. We needed a plan for both Yorfenli and the demons and devil that always surround him.

I also need to know what dao he specializes in and his concept. We need information we don't have, while the demons, devils, and angels probably got libraries filled with all I can do and have done.

But dear god, I'm excited! It's been so long! I feel like a girl going to prom. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH~

"Sene?" Lilith whispered as the first light of dawn skimmed over our faces.

Winds billowing, I smiled, " Sup?'

'Someone's in a good mood. I've got Marquess Yor'fenli's location; for the past ten years, he's been near a mountain range, performing some strange ritual. " She said with glowing amethyst eyes. "When do you want to kill him?"

"You know it's not fair you get just to see whatever happens in the Abyss."

"It's not like he's trying to hide it. The amount of demonic qi he's releasing is abysmal. It seems he is getting ready for something. Plus, can't you do the same in Noctem?"

"Kinda, but it's hard to focus on a specific person, and if said person were to teleport away, I'd need to refocus. But as a whole, if I just intake all the information, I would know everything."

Lilith hummed in response, pondering over something that had me think, "I see.' she said, glancing towards Tian Wang and—good god, it's been almost a decade, what the hell is her name?

The struggle is real!

"What are we going to do about them," She asked, glancing at them in meditation.

"Up to you, my hands are tied regarding how they live and die. You, on the other hand, could do whatever you want. Personally, I'd burn his son alive in front of Tian Wang and toss his ass into the ninth layer of hell for touching you."

"So you want to torment him?" She asked, arching her moist lips. "I could arrange that, you know."

A chuckle escaped me when all of a sudden voices of the soldiers outside began to respond. Listening to the chatter, stirring everyone out of their own meditation, I poked my head outside, looking at the massive clearing.

Taking in everything, noting I didn't feel anything in front or below me, I hopped down from the carriage and glanced up towards the sky.

Residing in the clouds, I saw a massive city covered in a cluster of Enochian runes or, as Bael would say, Wardings that allowed the metropolis above to hover in the skies. I glanced around at the hoards of angels with fiery wings on the lookout, weapons ready for battle.

I may be gathering too much attention. But I'd like to see how they'll welcome this king.

"Mr. Kratos," Said Flenka sternly.

"Hmm? What's-up"

"We'll like for you and the misses to follow us." He said, and I couldn't help but smile.

"I'll pass. I followed you all as a courtesy. I'm here now, so I'll be leaving; you two idiots, let's go." Spreading my wings wide, I glanced at Mia and Fox, flashing the duo a smile, "I'd like to see you two again its been fun. Especially you, Silver Fox."

"Please, I've had more fun with your wife than I did with you," Fox shamelessly mentioned, with a cheeky grin, " Darling, I'm going to miss you. Take care of that idiot you call a husband."

"I'm starting to like him more and more!" Said, Lilith.

Snatching my wife's arms before she made me kill everyone here, my intent wrapped around the celestial duo as we soared into the skies.

"Wait!" Flenka howled, but whatever his intent was fell on deaf ears.

Flying high into the skies, I zoomed through the clouds, narrowing my eyes the closer I got, when I suddenly stopped halfway up.

"You sense it too?" Lilith whispered.

"He's here." I uttered, "Raziel is here."

Taking in a large breath, as the revolting aura of Seraphic Qi washed over the city, I could feel my stomach bubble with pure disgust.

"I did not think he'd be here. I think we should leave. At least till I can change out of this demonic-looking appearance I hold." I stated, annoyed as I was starting to like it. It felt so natural being in this form. If Lilith had allowed it, I would walk around every day of my life butt-ass naked, swinging Lil Arsene around. But society can't handle that! Bunch of bitches!

Men need to swing their dick around. It's a confidence thing. Or maybe it's ego, but who the hell cares.

"Random thought if you died and reincarnated, would you like to be a woman or man?" I strangely asked, unsure what had gotten into me.

"A woman, of course." She replied, without hesitation, with a tinge of pride in her tone.

"Really? Guess you don't suffer from penis envy."

"That can't be a thing."

'Everything's a thing." I replied, cracking up. "Some people think it would be nice to have sometimes. Low maintenance, I guess. Idk I'm not a woman."

Lilith pursed her lips and tilted her head, " You ok? This is a weird conversation."

"Yeah, let's get out of here and plan how to get in." She said as the Angels upon high stared down at us.

I was sure they knew who we were. But all they were doing was staring—something I didn't like. With the completion of the Law of Concordance, I am sure the angels will have a significant rise in power, especially with this twenty-something-year gap.

I need to prepare. But Marquess Yor'fenli needs to die first.
