The Kings Wrath

Cleaning the battlefield, I made an effort to go through Serg's spiral ring in hopes of finding out their objective. Sending over twelve Demonic Cultivators is not in the least normal just to raid a village.

"Hey Sene, should we burn the bodies to ash?" Lilith suddenly inquired hesitantly, "I feel like we should keep them here."

"Absolutely. Whatever their goal was, I don't particularly want to be blamed for it. I am sure someone will be coming after us in no time. More so than usual." I added flatly, not putting much thought into being hunted.

Opening my palms, a devilish smile suddenly appeared upon my lips as a small grey soul flame appeared. Sensing my intent, the flame of Serg shuttered, growing murky.

Taking a large bite from out of his soul, the screams of sweet bliss rang like wedding tolls within my mind bringing a soothing warmth I had come to love.

Tasting his memories and torment, all fragmented and chaotic, my gaze grew dazed and my mind empty. Serg was a murderer, a rapist, torturer, the very embodiment of a demon in its most primitive form.

He was a bastard, no doubt, but he was also one of the go-to men many went to, no question asked. Being a demonic Cultivator didn't truly make you inherently evil, as many disapproved of Serg's action, but none saw fit to stop him. Probably did not care enough to put a stop to this cruel bastard.

"You learned anything?" Lilith murmured, low enough for my ears only.

"He was a bastard, no doubt, but from what I have seen, he was also an idiot that only saw fit to grab the money. But it will seem this mission was a bit different. He was after your little brother."

Scrunching her tender brow Lilith tilted her head, "I don't have a brother. What are you talking about?"

Chuckling at her cluelessness, I smiled, "Well, we were gone for a while, but it will seem the Celestial King had another child, remember now?"

"Oh-Shit, I forgot. Wait, is he dead?" Lilith exclaimed, astonished by the thought.

Shaking my head, I gazed out at the rubble, "no, but he did impregnate some woman. Serg was sent to kill her. This will probably explain them burning the village to the ground. They were trying to make sure it looked like a bandit attack."

"More reason for us to get the hell out of here before some god arrives." Lilith hastily said, and I could not agree more.

"We have to go! NOW!" I shouted to everyone, rushing away while Lilith held little Arkanos by the arm as we fleed the scene. The last thing I needed was a misunderstanding.

Catching up to us, in a matter of minutes, the other chosen glared with a look that demanded an explanation. However, just as I opened my mouth to speak, Alos shook. Generating timeless tremors and chasms to open below my feet.

The skies dimmed, and the winds began to pick up. Sensing the storm of unending divinity swirling, the words within my mouth froze.

"Bloody Hell!" Sigfried screamed aloud, "Is that--"

"The Celestrial King?" Lilith grimly uttered, pulling my arm as she snapped, summoning the Pale Gate in an instant. "We got to go! If he sees me, you are dead."

"No!" I hastily added, "get that thing out of here. Not here. Not now. Did you forget the Angels? We can escape, or did you forget I can control Noctem."

The last thing we needed was for the Clestrial King to find the Gate and for us to be stuck, surrounded by the Court of Nox.

"Everyone gather around me," I coldly commanded, unsheathing the spear of Noctem from my back.

Confused but also fearful of the terror of divinity pooling across the heavens. None held the thought of questioning me as the sigil of Noctem appeared. Using the last of my Abyssal Night Qi, I roared, "All of you pour your qi into me. Now!"

Not having to repeat myself, the forces of all the chosen, Arkanos and Lilith, stormed my body. This was a bit suicidal for normal people, but with my body that resisted everything, my body could support this power without any issue.

Sending all the excess power, the tribunal of divinity overflowing into the air began to pulse with the sin of wrath. This bastard was pissed.

"Christofer," The Celestial King bellowed, as a power so mighty tore everyone off their feet blasting us into the air.

"I got it; you focus on hiding us!" Lilith screamed when all of a sudden, her Amethyst eyes howled with such pressure I thought I was speaking with Asmodeus.

Making various gestures and hand signs more complex than I had ever seen, the Crest of Lilith shone within her deep Amethyst eyes.

Keeping my focus, the Qi of Noctem coiled around my spear, slithering down from the spear's tip and onto my arm, then up to my neck. I could almost hear it hiss like a loving serpent.

"Abyssal Sphere," Lilith howled as the aura around her began to rush out from around us, attempting to block the divinity that would have decimated our bodies. However, even so, I could still feel the power of divinity peel Lilith's barrier away with minimal resistance.

"Don't forget us," Both Cleo and Yu Jing hastily shouted, casting their own defensive barrier as Kurt and Sig fueled my dantian with enough power to last.

Crashing a few hundred Kilometter ways from where the Celestial King bellowed, a sigh of relief and dismay entered my head. We had escaped, but I could still feel the pooling divinity growing stronger by the second.

"How strong is this bastard?"

Hanging helplessly from a tree, I glanced around, a little confused as I could not find anyone. Too drained to use energy, the branch holding my body broke, sending my body tumbling down.

Landing heavily on my back, I did not experience any pain but was instead completely drained once again.

"This is why we don't help people. Nothing good ever comes from it. Screw hero's something is more wrong with them than there is me. Seriously it's so much better to be a villain. They have all the baddest bitches too. I'm sure they are down for anything."
