Wake up call

Angelo decided to use the longest way to go back. He was having a hard time accepting what had happened. 

His hand unconsciously went to touch his chest. The stab wound was healed but a scar was left behind. It will remain there for a long time as a reminder that he was once betrayed.

He was angry at himself.falling in love was a mistake he knew he couldn't afford to make. Yet he had. From the beginning, he knew that she had something going on.

He trusted her to not betray his trust. And the result? He was drugged and taken around like a puppet before being stabbed in the heart.

The pain was more profound than anything ordinary. He was unconscious but heard everything going on around him.

He clenched his fist thinking about how he was made a fool off. Never again! He vowed. He will never let himself be that vulnerable to anyone again.
