-Ravenclaw Common Room – Saturday-
Today was a day without classes or lessons, and after breakfast I went straight to the common room to finish the homework that Professor McGonagall had given us in her last class.
Sitting alone at one of the tables in the common room, I was reading a parchment with my Transfiguration essay on it, checking it to see if everything was in order.
And while I was reviewing my homework Anthony, Padma and Sue entered the common room, with the two girls heading straight for our house private library while Anthony looked around, spotting me before walking towards me.
"Hey Ethan, your owl came to deliver this letter to you," he said, taking a seat across from me as he handed me a letter with the House of Black crest on it.
"Hermes?" I asked, taking the letter and opening it, "I thought he was in the owlery?"
"Well, I passed the owlery earlier today, and I didn't see any white owls there" Anthony said with a shrug.
"White owl?" I asked with a confused look.
"Yes, isn't your owl the pretty one with the white feathers?" he asked me, now also confused.
"That is Hedwig, Harry's owl" I said looking strangely at my half raven half badger friend.
"Really? I always thought she was your owl, mostly because of the way she acts when she's with you." he said.
"The way she acts?"
"Well whenever you are in the owlery she flies up to you and tries to get your attention and when you pet her she always looks happy" Anthony replied, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"Oh, I didn't realize that…" I said, but actually I obviously did, and I knew it was thanks to my Beast Talk.
But now that I know other people noticed it too I started to feel weird.
'I hope Harry doesn't know about this, or he might think I'm trying to steal his owl' I thought, snorting slightly amused but knowing it wasn't impossible to happen.
Shaking my head to rid myself of that thought, I looked down at the open letter in my hands.
I then started to read the letter, which at first was just Sirius asking me how I was doing in school, if I had ever received a detention, and if I had ever pranked 'Snivellus'.
But after that part the letter took on a more serious tone, with Sirius telling me that he was worried about Harry because of some weird dreams he was having.
My dog-man friend then asked me if I could help his godson with this problem, as I had a lot of knowledge about mind magic that could help Harry, and I had a special gift when it came to dealing with feelings and emotions.
'Hmm, so apparently Sirius couldn't help Harry with his visions and his connection with Voldemort' I thought after I finished reading the letter, putting it in my pocket.
I thought that being a free man and having more time to spend with Harry, Sirius would be able to find a way to help his godson, but apparently Harry's dreams and visions were a much more difficult problem to deal with than Sirius and I had expected.
'Well, there's not much we can do to break this connection between Harry and Tom, as they are connected by 'soul', but he can still suppress this connection by protecting his mind' I reflected, leaning back in my chair.
'There are still a few days left until the start of the Triwizard Tournament, so I think by then I can teach Harry the basics of Occlumency'
And with that thought I made up my mind, rising from my chair and stuffing my homework into my bag, and under the curious gaze of Anthony who had started doing his own homework, I left the common room.

-In front of Black Lake-
After leaving the Ravenclaw Common Room I used my senses to search the school for Harry's magic, and not finding him I realized that he was probably outside the castle on the Hogwarts grounds.
And using ATLAS I found him with his two faithful friends, as expected, near the edge of the black lake.
And now with a location I went to them, and getting close to where they were I saw them sitting under a big tree, talking.
Well, I say chatting, but really Hermione was talking fervently while the boys listened and nodded, with Ron not even looking at her as he read a Quidditch magazine.
"Hey scar head!" I said, changing my voice into my best Malfoy imitation.
And immediately I could see the faces of the three Gryffindors tighten into a grimace, with feelings of displeasure coming from them.
"What do you want Malfoy?" Harry asked impatiently, turning to me.
And as soon as he saw me looking at them with an amused smile he blinked in confusion, until realization hit him.
"Ethan?" he asked.
"Well, it's not Malfoy," I said, approaching them.
"Wow dude, that was a good imitation" Ron said impressed, "You managed to speak in such a nasty and irritating way that for a second I actually thought you were that stupid ferret"
"Thanks, that's been a lot of practice days," I said, wiping imaginary dust off my shoulder.
"Well, jokes aside" Hermione started to say, with me clucking my tongue in disappointment, "What are you doing here Ethan?" she asked me.
"I'm here because I wanted to talk to Harry" I said gesturing to the black haired boy.
"Oh, okay" Harry said, looking at me and waiting for me to speak.
"Alone" I said.
He then looked at me confused, before turning to his friends, and I could almost tell what he was thinking, which was something along the lines of 'I don't keep secrets from my friends' or 'Whatever you say to me you can say to them'.
"Look, you can tell them the content of our conversation later, but I prefer our conversation to be just between the two of us, as it will be easier for me" I said, and that made him stop, now wondering what this conversation I wanted to have with him was about.
And seeing that Harry wasn't moving yet lost in thought, Hermione at his side patted him on the shoulder.
And looking at his crush, Harry saw her gesturing to me, as if to say 'Go ahead'.
Looking at Ron he saw that the red haired boy was nodding his head, showing that was fine, and seeing that he sighed in relief, finally getting up.
"Excellent" I nodded satisfied, "Now let's go somewhere quieter" and saying that I turned around and started walking.
Glancing at my back as I walked away, Harry turned to his friends with an odd look, to which they both just shrugged.
And shaking his head while sighing the boy then started to follow me.
After walking a bit, passing some first year students who were playing with one of the giant squid's tentacles, we arrived at a big rock that was on the edge of the black lake.
Stopping and leaning against this boulder, I turned to Harry, who was looking around as if prepared for some surprise prank.
"Sirius told me you've been having some strange dreams," I said, getting straight to the point.
And that sentence was enough to fully awaken Harry's attention.
"He told?" the boy in front of me asked with a frown.
"Yes, and he also said that you guys have already tried various methods to end these dreams or at least lessen them" and when I said this Harry looked at me for a while, before nodding, realizing it wouldn't make sense to lie.
"Yes" he said with a sigh while scratching the back of his head in frustration, "But nothing we tried worked"
"Hmm, I see," I said, glaring at him.
And it might look like I was just looking at Harry, but I was actually scanning him with my Magic Vision, focusing specifically on a spot on his forehead that was filled with a now very familiar dark magic.
And Harry, noticing my silence, looked at me confused, until he noticed that my eyes were twinkling slightly.
'Huh, his eyes shine like the Headmaster's?' he wondered, 'Does this happen to all powerful wizards? Or is this something normal in weird and crazy wizards?'
And unaware of the fact that Harry thought of me as a powerful wizard, I ended my analysis.
'There's nothing wrong with his body other than mental fatigue, and his magic is normal too' I said to myself, 'And that was good, because it meant that the connection between him and Tom wasn't strong enough, and so Harry could, in theory, lessen or at least suppress the visions he received from Voldemort with Occlumency.'
'Now the question is: Will he be able to learn Occlumency if I teach him?' I wondered, placing a hand on my chin as I looked at Harry, who was looking at me confused and a little wary.
End.
