Chapter 65

Maximus had planned to take back the North from the Bolton's and return House stark to power in the North as a Vassal of the Empire. This would put the North under Maximus protection and have the lords that support House Stark be grateful to him.

Some Northern houses may be supporting the Bolton's but Lady Sansa believed that once they knew that Bran and Rickon are alive they will rally to support House Stark. Whether or that is true will be found out once Maximus cross the Narrow sea into the North.

But Arin Maximus's Chancellor has just found out the whereabouts of Bran and Rickon and was on his way to tell Maximus, "Your Majesty I have found out the whereabouts of Bran and Rickon Stark" Said Arin

"Good very good where are they" Asked Maximus

Arin pulled out the map of the North and pointed to a place in the North, "here this is where they are hold up at Queen's crown along with the men you sent to protect them" Said Arin

"It would seem that after settling down at Queen's crown they have been staying there for a week or two and were finally able to send a raven after they stole one that is how I got this information" Said Arin

"Okay, send 500 men with enough food to feed 2k people for two months who will land at the Bay of Seals and then head to Queen's Crown and then after getting Bran and Rickon I want them to head to Castle Black and help the Night's Watch man the walls since the army of the Free folks is marching on the wall" Said Maximus

"Sir, why don't we offer the free folk refuge, so they won't attack the wall" said Arin since that way they don't need to fight each other

"That's what I will do, but in order for me to convince them I would need to go myself, which I can't do right now since we are preparing for the invasion of Westeros, so it must wait, but I will have the Commander of the nights watch attempt to offer them safe refuge and if they refuse then what more can we do other than wait until I go there personally"

"You could send Aerella, she could probably convince them" Said Arin

Maximus thought about it and he could do that, but he will go to the North Personally anyway with his army, but he could have Aerella try and talk with them "I will still go to the North any way to return the Stark family to power, but I will send Aerella in my place to talk to them since I can't be two places at once"

"Alright then your majesty that is all I had to report, so I will prepare the men and ships to send to the North" Said Arin as he bowed and left the room

Once Arin left the room, Maximus had looked to the corner of the room, where the three new baby dragons were sleeping. They had hatched a couple of days ago and were smaller than the first two that were hatched, maybe because the eggs were turned to stone for so long.

Back in Westeros, King Joffrey had died from poison in Kingslanding at his Wedding feast. Queen Cersei quickly blamed Tyrion, her dwarf brother, for the death of her son, but really it was Lady Olenna who had poisoned him since she didn't want her Granddaughter to marry someone like him.

Then in the night her and her Granddaughter fled Kingslanding causing some people to blame the death of the King on them and breaking the Alliance between House Tyrell and House Lannister. They used the excuse of their safety were threatened, that's why they fled Kingslanding.

Even if some people blamed Olenna and Margaery Tyrion was still the main suspect of the death of the King and was to go on trial soon.

Cersei immediately offered a Knighthood to anybody that brings in Margaery Tyrell and Olenna Tyrell. Ser Loras Tyrell was still in Kingslanding and was thrown in the dungeon after Olenna and Margaery left Kingslanding. Mace Tyrell was also thrown in a dungeon, and this sparked some conflict between House Lannister and House Tyrell.

Even if Margaery and Olenna escaped back to Highgarden Loras and the Warden of the south Mace Tyrell was in a dungeon in Kingslanding. And Since most already considered that Tyrion had poisoned the King, the Lords of the Reach were furious that their Lord were held in a dungeon for something that he didn't do.

If the Reach rally together to free their Lord Mace Tyrell from Kingslanding then House Lannister will be at a disadvantage since the Reach have the superior numbers in terms of armies.

Tywin Lannister seen how the Lords of the Reach were reacting and didn't want to start another conflict, so he freed Mace Tyrell going against his daughter and hoped to halt the Lords of the Reach from marching on Kingslanding with an army.

But Mace was not allowed to leave Kingslanding since Tywin knows what would happen if he returned to the Reach after being imprisoned by House Lannister.

The security around Kingslanding has been tightened to the Maximum after the death of King Joffrey and now the soon-to-be King Tommen was tightly guarded everywhere he went, and the food and drinks were always checked for poison.

While Westeros was once again embroiled in a conflict North of the Wall, the Night King was growing ever stronger with his army of undead and the Long night was close.
